Grounding Swing−Out Panel

Connect other end of ground wire to ground stud on the

enclosure. Feed wire through openings in the vertical
mounting bracket and fasten with ground fasteners supplied
with the enclosure. (ground wire supplied by customer)

 STANDARD MOUNTING:
1. Open enclosure door.
2. Drill center–punch marks on latch side to .203 inch (5mm) diameter for M4 screws or .250 inch (6mm) diameter for M5 screws. If there are three sets of
center–punch marks; drill the two outer marks only.
3. Attach hinge mounting brackets (11) as shown with pan–head sealing screws (12) provided. Torque to 22 in–lbs (2.5 Nm).
4. Insert bumpers (14) into both tabs of one vertical mounting bracket (6) as shown.
5. Attach vertical bracket (6) with bumpers (14) to hinge mounting brackets on latch side of enclosure using flat–head screws (13) provided. Torque to 22
in–lbs (2.5 Nm).
6. Attach second vertical bracket (6) to hinge side of enclosure using flat–head screws (13) provided. Torque to 22 in–lbs (2.5 Nm).
7. Install a cage nut (17) into each end of the horizontal mounting brackets (7).
8. Orient horizontal mounting brackets as shown. Position behind vertical mounting brackets and secure with the hex bolts (10), lock washers (9), hex
nuts (8). Torque to 99 in–lbs (11 Nm).
9. Install flat–head screws (13) through vertical brackets, and into the cage nuts (17). Torque to 22 in–lbs (2.5 Nm).
10. Install latch assembly (2) to swing−out panel (1) with locknuts (3) as shown. Torque to 22 in–lbs (2.5 Nm).
11. Thread pivot pins (4) into bushings in swing–out panel (1) until tips protrude slightly.
12. Place spacers (5) on the protruding pins (4).
13. Slide swing−out panel (1) into place on horizontal mounting brackets (7).
14. Tighten pivot pins (4).
15. Swing–out panel is secured in position by rotating latch, engaging vertical mounting bracket.

 VARIABLE DEPTH MOUNTING:
1. Open enclosure door.
2. Install adjustable mounting kit per instructions provided with the adjustable mounting kit (p/n 64311001), with the exception of mounting the slides with the
studs oriented toward the rear of the enclosure.
3. Insert a bumper (14) into both tabs of one vertical mounting bracket (6) as shown.
4. Install a cage nut (17) into each end of the horizontal mounting brackets (7).
5. Beginning in one corner, position a vertical bracket (6) behind the slide bracket. Place a horizontal bracket (7), behind both the slide bracket and the verti-
cal bracket. Loosely install bolt (10), lock washer (9), and nut (8) through all brackets.
6. Repeat step 5 for the remaining three corners.
7. Install flat head screws (13) through the vertical brackets (6) and into the cage nuts (17) installed on the horizontal brackets (7). Torque to 22 in–lbs (2.5
Nm).
8. Tighten bolts (10). Torque to 99 in–lbs (11 Nm).
9. Install latch assembly (2) to swing−out panel (1) with locknuts (3) as shown. Torque to 22 in–lbs (2.5 Nm).
10. Thread pivot pins (4) into bushings in swing–out panel until tips protrude slightly.
11. Place spacers (5) on the protruding pins (4).
12. Slide swing−out panel (1) into place on horizontal mounting brackets (7).
13. Tighten pivot pins (4).
14. Swing–out panel is secured in position by rotating latch, engaging vertical mounting bracket.
