are dead” and that the life you have now is Christ living in you?

 QUESTION NO: 1
CHAPTER ONE
From chapter one “God’s Great Offer”. I am gaining a deeper
understanding here that when God becomes my heritage in life, I will live above
any lack. As a new creation man now that I am, God is my heritage therefore, I
need not fear when people are crying and complaining of lack, for I am gaining
more understanding here that “I will live above any lack”. Hallelujah!!!
 From the life of Joseph, I noted again through this book that when a man
possesses this glorious inheritance - God Himself, he will eventually lack
nothing. This our portion (God Himself) is the essence of all things.
 The need for me to grow is very essential and crucial. Jesus must be my
pattern and standard of growth.
 When God sees in me the same quality that He saw in His Son Jesus, He
will also begin to entrust His things unto me. “The Father Loves the Son,
and have given all things into His hands” John 3:35 NKJV.
 For me to fully enjoy the rights and privileges of the Son without raising
any conflict of principle for God, who is known to be righteous and to
uphold righteousness, I need to grow into the same likeness as Jesus the
first begotten Son seeing that even for Him it was not automatic, He grew
to attain the place He is now.
CHAPTER TWO
WHAT IS DISCIPLESHIP?
 I am noting here that the goal of discipleship is not to make a child of
God become like another child of God; the basic purpose of God in
discipleship is to get every child of God conform to the image of the Lord
Jesus Christ. According to Romans 8:29.
For me to be conform to the image of God is the purpose of God for my
life and for saving me. Therefore, until this purpose of God is fulfilled, I
have not yet arrived at God’s destination for my life. And discipleship is
this only means by which this can be achieved.
 From Matthew 4:19 I am gaining understanding that, the decision to
follow Jesus is personal. He has placed the invitation yet it was left for
them to decide whether to follow Him or not, but they will only become
fishers of men if they follow Him. I must be willing to follow Jesus if I
want to become anything in God’s hand.
 Discipleship is the great commission that Jesus gave Matthew 28:18-20.
 My message or ministry will only achieve the purpose of God if only I
disciple the soul(s) that repents to become like Jesus in every aspect.
 Discipleship demands me to be very intimate with the Lord Jesus in other
for life transfer to take place. I am seeing that the principle thing in the
heart of the Lord for me now that I am a new creation man is for me to be
intimate with the Lord to be with Jesus. Discipleship is the premise for
my survival. “And He ordained twelve that they should be with Him…..”
Mark 3:14.
 The making of my life as a disciple (A new creation man) to become like
Jesus is the Lord’s work. If I am really progressing in my relationship
with the Lord as a disciple it will show in my life, character and people
will see it that I am behaving like Jesus would do. I must keep on
remembering that discipleship is a relationship. Oh God help me to make
progress in my discipleship with You.
 From the way Jesus handled Thomas here as explained; I am seeing that
Jesus can bear with me until I become what He wants me to be.
Discipleship will carry me as a disciple from natural lifestyle into the
Spiritual lifestyle. What will make me to overcome the natural lifestyle
quickly and embrace the lifestyle of Jesus is discipleship.
 As I am now, I have the nature of Christ but a babe –immature only
discipleship relationship with the Lord can make me matured. This is my
place of existence as a new creation man.
CHAPTER THREE
WHO IS A DISCIPLE
 Discipleship can only start and make progress in a life that is born again
(A new creation life). Someone who is not born again cannot accept nor
become like Jesus no matter the training. Now that I am born again
become a new creation man I can be disciple. Oh! I have hope of
becoming like Jesus.
 A disciple is someone whose reason of living is the same as Jesus’s own
– being yoked with Jesus. This implies that I will only be a disciple if my
reason for living is the same as Jesus’s own it must not be different.
 In Matthew 11:29-30 I am seeing that I can only have rest for my soul
when I take the yoke of Jesus.
 I am gaining an understanding here that to yoke with Jesus for me as a
new creation man everything for me must be the same with Jesus. As a
yoke will compel you to work in the same step, the same direction as the
other whom you are yoked with. I am yoked with Jesus.
Oh Lord make this a daily reality in me in Jesus name.
 The Lord knows my exact location am seeing here that this new creation
life which is Christ himself living in me is a treasure that God never jokes
with therefore, He knows where I am.
 This life (the new creation life) that I am bearing is not independent of the
Lord but totally dependent on the Lord for living, for existence just as
colt here is only dependent on him that tie him even for what he will eat
and drink, where he will go is as the master gives and directs.
 A cry is rising in my heart “Oh Lord make me a disciple” in Jesus name.
With this understanding, there will be no need for complains when things
happen the way they do I now understand the meaning of this text “…..all
things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are
the called……” Romans 8:28. This is the new creation man’s language –
the language of a disciple.
 A disciple is a learner. I understand now that one who is not a disciple, a
natural man is not teachable. This new creation man living in me is a
leaner he is teachable “learn of Me”.
 Every longing, hunger and desire to be like Jesus can only be possible
when one is a disciple because, a disciple will and can learn from him in
other to be like Him. I am seeing that the matter of intimacy with the
Lord cannot be over-emphasised in my life as a new creation man
because that is it only way of surviving. I am to be with the Lord whether
I am in the market, toilet, place of work, talking with my husband and
children, relating with people etc.
 Prayer: Oh Lord help me to establish a continues relationship with you in
Jesus name. I join the prayer in this book because it is also a need in my
life “Father I believe you know the way, Your purpose for my life is the
best, I believe that whatever You do for me is right I want to bring my
neck willingly under the yoke. I want to go the way You are going I know
You love me better and Your purpose for me is the best” I surrender all to
You from now onward I give my whole life to You in Jesus name Amen.
CHAPTER FOUR
WHY BECOME A DISCIPLE?
 I am learning here that I cannot become like Jesus unless I am His
disciple. As for me, I want to be like Jesus by nature, in character
therefore, I am seeing here that I have no alternative, no option at all than
to be His disciple.
 With all my zeal of doing something for God, being used by God, to be
intimate with God, to be known as Gods’ very own. All of these can only
be possible if I am the disciple of the Lord. Lord I am ready, help me in
Jesus name. Amen.
CHAPTER FIVE
CONDITION FOR DISCIPLESHIP
 The condition for discipleship is not something to negotiate it must be
fulfilled as it is. I must come to Jesus at His terms and on His ground. Form
Luke 9:23 “Then He said to them all……..” I am gaining an understanding here
that this condition of the Lord for discipleship is not in favour of anyone;
Whether rich or poor, pastor, chief etc, must fulfil this condition for
discipleship. There is no option for me is a must and necessity for me to fulfil
this condition if I am really want to gain eternal life and fulfil the purpose of
God by saving me and giving me this new life.
 Having understood from the previous chapters that discipleship is the
only premise of the new creation man. That is where “This Life” can
survive. I have no option it is necessary and mandatory for me to fulfil
this conditions. Prayer: I am trusting and relying on You to help me fulfil
all these conditions in Jesus name Amen.
CHAPTER SIX
WHAT IS SELF?
 Self is who you are by nature. Who I know myself to be is self. From the
description of self in these chapter as the person that dwells within
occupies the heart, he whispers, dictate, controls, enforces, insist, an
understanding is coming to me that I must watch out for self daily now
that I am a new creation man these is crucial and critical because the
whole world system is built and governed by the principles of self. So
self-have its own principle. Self is not only sinful in appearance it also
has its part that seems not sinful yet sinful before God. Self is
independent, loves to be noticed and recognised, is defensive, insist on
his way to mention but few and all these are opposite of Gods’ will for
me as a new creation man.
 Ah! Self is very dangerous, poisonous, deadly Oh! I lack words to qualify
it in fact, self is very extra-ordinarily wicked. Is not a friend at all of this
new life that I now bear.
 Self must just have to die (Thank God for His death in my life) and must
never be given opportunity to survive.
 Everything that ‘self-life’ is, is directly opposite towards “the new
creation life” is.
 Hmmm…. As soon as I allowed myself to be led by the human nature, I
become the enemy of God. Matthew 16:23 Peter became an enemy of
God because what he said was led by the human nature (self).
 The motive behind whatever I am doing matters to God.
 This new creation life doesn’t know anything ‘I am only to follow the
man inside – the Holy Spirit’. This life is a total dependent man.
 The enemy of faith is self. Now that self is no more, faith is the principle
thing for this life. Faith in God. Helpless, only looking up to God for
everything: wisdom, what to eat, drink, wear, everything for life and
Godliness I must depend totally on God. That is the Fate of this Life that
I Am Now (the new creation life). My life now have nothing to boast
about 1 Corinthians 1:29.
 I must watch out for persecutors the self life will persecute the Spirit life.
Having known this, the victory shall be mine in Jesus name Amen.
 I am seeing that any aspect of self left out no matter how little it may
appear is enough to strangulate the new creation life.
 A deep understanding, identification of the “self” will help one to be able
to identify him in whatever form he may want to appear even with the
presence of the new creation man. Prayer: Lord I am depending on You,
counting on You alone to never again be entangled by this enemy self in
Jesus name Amen.
CHAPTER SEVEN
WHAT THEN IS THE WAY OUT?
The understanding coming to me here includes the following;
 Denying “self” is what makes this life (The new creation life ) to
resemble Jesus. Is the only thing that makes this life (new creation man)
opposite different from the normal life that people and the world know.
Luke 9:23 “…….Let him deny himself……”.
 The new creation life can only be known, seen in existence in me as;
 I forget myself.
 Say no to myself and my own interest.
 Disown myself.
 Lose sight of myself and my interest.
 Refuse and give up myself.
 Renounce myself.
 Leave myself behind.
 Give up all right to myself
 Put aside and ignore myself.
All that is pleasant favourable and full of selfish interest must be laid
aside for me (the new creation man) to exist, to live and survive. This is
critical and very crucial!
 These implies that whatever happens to me; the way people will handle
me, take what belongs to me, look down on me and my personality I must
live everything to God and wipe-off from memory that thing that looks
 offensive. I must learn to see things the way Jesus does “They know not
what they do” whether the person beats his chest and say I know what I
am doing I should have this deep understanding that he or she does not
know what he/she is doing.
 The “self” is stubborn and rebellious no human effort can deal with the
human nature (self).
 I am the one to deny myself not another person. I am to lay hold on him
and bring him to the Lord Jesus Christ any time he shows his ugly head
(himself).
 Only the Lord Jesus Christ can deal with the self life and finish him. Oh!
Thank God for Jesus who is available for my deliverance from this most
wicked enemy of mine called self. If not for Jesus, who else could have
helped me out of this predicament, thank God that I have Jesus to submit
the self life to.
 When a man is not fed-up with self (the flesh), his grip will not be broken
from that life.
CHAPTER EIGHT
GODS’ PROVISION FOR OUR DELIVERANCE
 The provision of God for my deliverance from Mr. flesh (self) is death.
He just must have to die for me to be delivered.
 No death, no deliverance.
 God is full of love for me.
 God siphoned my self (Mr. flesh) put in the cup for Jesus to drink, He
pour into Jesus my sinful nature, that nature in me that love to sin, that
cannot please God. That nature that brings forth anger in me, self defence
He took him to the cross and there He died. Myself life died on the cross
Hallelujah! Oh I am free !! it is finished!!! “…. I am crucified with
Christ……” Hallelujah! Gal. 2:20. Ah! Thank God myself is dead” I am
free…… I am now alive to serve the Lord, to bear fruit.
 I am dead to sin, to Mr. flesh. The nature of sin in me has been brought to
an end. I cannot continue to sin because I am born of God 1 John 3:9 I am
entirely a new creation man. Col. 3:3 I am bearing a new life entirely.
 The life I am bearing now is Jesus’s own life living; alive in me. Oh!
What a glorious life that I now have.
 I am now living only to Jesus, Gal. 2:20-21 “…..and the life which I now
live in the flesh, I live by faith in the son of God……” it is no longer
Rosemary alive here, Christ Himself is the one living here in me.
Oh Lord I pray, let this understanding keep on having deep root in my
heart in Jesus name. “as a man thinketh in his heart so is he” Oh Lord let
my thought be filled daily with this great deliverance that You brought
 for me in Jesus name. that this new creation man may be seen living daily
in me.
 Everything about me now belong to Christ.
 I must not forget that this understanding does not mean that temptations
will not come, it will come but as they come my response is that self is
dead. They must just see death of their customer and also a new occupant
– the Lord Jesus Hmm………Hallelujah thank You Jesus.
 I am understanding more now that Christianity is not a life of struggle.
CHAPTER NINE
WHAT THEN IS THE CROSS?
 The cross is what terminates my transaction – relationship, fellowship
with the self life, the world system and the devil.
 With the cross I am of no interest to the world. The world can make no
profit with a death person.
 The cross signifies death and business transaction, communication can
only be done with the living Wao……
 The cross is what end sin in my life.
 I am gaining an insight here that the cross is the unquestionable wisdom
of God that even the devil could not comprehend it “then the Lord said to
Moses, “make a fiery serpent, and set it on a pole; and it shall be that
everyone who is bitten, when he looks at it, shall live”. Num. 21:8. Only
God could do this. Hmmm……. God is God John 3:14-15 “and as Moses
lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the son of man be
lifted up, “that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have
eternal life NKJV.
 At the cross; my trespasses are forgiven – Records of my sins are blotted
out – Satan’s sting is siphoned. As I look at Jesus on the cross daily,
Satan has no power over me again. Thank You Lord for this
understanding in Jesus name.
 The cross is where my new life begins from. I take, receive the heredity
of Christ at the cross.
 To really experience the new creation life, one must see the cross, this is
where my life begins from on the 25-2-2020 was when I saw the cross
when it is finished. My sinful life (self life) was ended there and a new
life sprang-up in me. Hallelujah to the Lord that was slain.
 The cross is where my deliverance took place.
 I am seeing here that this deliverance as great as it is only those that look
at Him on the cross shall be saved, delivered.
 The devil knows that he has no power over any one that have seen the
cross so he blind people’s eyes from seeing the cross.
 There is no other way for salvation except the way of the cross through
Jesus.
 I am seeing that if you have not had encounter that changes life with the
cross, you cannot preach the cross – Jesus Christ and Him crucified. Yet
the devil undermines the cross and black mail it to be sickness, problems
in people’s life, etc.
 Because the devil knows that he has been defeated, and he still wants to
have power so he beclouds the cross – making it obscure.
 The cross is not an ornament for decoration. The cross is the power of
God in action to end the tyranny of the devil in the life of mankind.
Thank You Lord for the cross in my life.
CHAPTER TEN
THE DAILY CROSS
 Haven understood and believed that the cross is what makes the devil,
Mr. flesh powerless over me. The victory over him (self) must be a daily
matter. Therefore, the need for me to carry the cross daily becomes
necessary.
 I must keep looking at the cross that’s where my victory lies.
 Everything in the whole world is operated by the world system and the
principle behind them all is established by Mr. flesh.
 I am seeing that with the daily application of the cross, that is when I will
also cease from living for the world, what to eat, drink, wear and shelter.
 The daily application of the cross announce me useless to the world
obituary. It shows to the world that I do not belong to the world and its
system. Gal. 6:15-17 “………that cross by which the world has been
crucified to me and I to the world”.
 I am dead to the world system, I am only alive to the Lord Jesus and Him
alone. Thank You Lord for the cross.
CHAPTER 11
“AND FOLLOW ME”
 I can only follow Jesus now that my old life is terminated at the cross and
the new creation Man now living in me. Now that I have seen the cross
following Jesus is possible for me. Thank You Jesus for the cross I cannot
stop thanking the Lord for my deliverance.
 I am to follow Jesus because no other way of living is pleasing to God
except the way of Jesus.
John 14:16 “……. I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to
the father except through me”. NKJV.
  If I want to end in heaven Jesus is the only way that leads to where God is
any other way is not THE WAY.
 Jesus Himself is THE TRUTH the only true LIFE is Jesus, anything, life
outside Jesus is not true; it is fake, counterfeit and leads to death.
 Jesus is my All in All I will follow Him. Father, help me to follow Jesus
duly.
CHAPTER TWELVE
MEANS OF FOLLOWING JESUS
 The means of following Jesus is for me to hence forth, deliberately
cultivate His mind which is the bedrock for all His actions and living.
 I can cultivate the mind of Jesus when I get on relating with Him in
prayer and the word.
 Being endued by the Holy Spirit and walking by the Spirit is a necessity
if I must continue to follow Jesus.
 To walk by the Spirit means living by the word of God.
 I must confess here that this book becoming like Jesus has really helped
in deepening my understanding of who I am as a new creation man. Thus,
the new creation life cannot be separated from discipleship, that is its
means of growth.
QUESTION TWO
A. Share freely how you have walked daily in victory in your personal life
on account of this new creation life you now carry.
All that I will be sharing here is that I am still growing in it.
God in His mercy who helped me to see that my old man has been
crucified with Christ is the source of all my experiences. Right from the day we
were living the camp. I was a very fearful person and there is crisis going on
between Jukun and Tiv (Benue and Taraba) so I and one of the brother thought
it wise to join the Yola (Adamawa) brethren because of the challenge of
insecurity in the way due to the crisis and are both from Jukun tribe. But the
brethren failed us. After explaining our challenges to them and begging them,
they still drove away and left us standing in the camp watching them going.
Ordinarily I should have been very angry and spoken a lot about what
they did but I just laughed and told the brother thank God. Its just for
experience, this is how God planed it to be.
Before they drove away I had heard Him (Jesus) the owner of the body
saying, did I told you that I want to follow them back? Did you ask me that you
are begging them? And immediately I repented and asked Him to forgive me
and let His will be done. When it now happened that they left it is no offense at
all. Then He said “I want to deal with fear in you”. It was a Tiv driver that drove
us to Wukari that day from Gboko.
 I was to go from Ibi Local Government to Wukari Local Government
area of Taraba State for a condolence and a brother took me on a bike
when we arrived at Ibua, (a Tiv settlement that was burnt down because
of the crisis) the pluck removed and we had to stop there a very desolate
and lonely place. Then I heard Him said to me I am here you need not to
be afraid and I could not entertain any fear he fixed the pluck and we
moved with our journey.
 All the victory was as I am able to hear Him and also remember that I am
a dead woman.
 My husband demanded for the MP3 in the house to charge his phone. I
complained that I want to use it for message i.e to listen to message and
he kept quite I went ahead to say that he once instructed that we should
not be using it to charge phone but whenever I charge it to listen to
message, he will instead use it to charge his mobile phone immediately I
heard the man inside saying “will I reply like that? I now bow my head
and prayed and ask Him for mercy and plead the blood. I later went
 inside the bedroom and discovered that he did not pluck the phone so I
took a USB cord and plucked it for him and I had peace in my mind.
 My niece that is living with us had always been a very serious challenge
for me. She is not learning at all I concluded and her life have been a
serious trouble for me. But since I came back from Milert I am no more
troubled as before, each time I want to correct her, I will quietly ask Him
to speak to her and help her and she is picking up gradually now.
 When things happen for me to get angry I don’t see my heart reacting in
anger again.

B. What is the contract of this new creation life you now bear about with
your forever way of life?
 The contract of this new creation life I now bear about with my former
way of life.
 I was fearful but now the new creation man in me is not fearful.
 I use to get angry but now no anger in my heart. I have had experiences
since I came back from Milert that proves to me that the man that use to
get angry in me is gone. I always hear this conclusion “that is how God
wants it to be” “God permit it”. And instantly it settles my heart and
anger cannot stay anymore.
 I use to sometimes get anxious when there is no provisions or when we
are in lack but now it is no more like that. There is now quietness in me
not like before that I will pray yet I will not be at rest in the heart.
 Whenever the children or disciples that misbehave or do something
wrong I will quickly rebuke and talk…….but now I always see myself
receiving direction from the new creation man before speaking or
bringing any correction.
 Even in the mist of what to say I am learning to depend totally on Him for
what to say.

C. What evidence have come forth that confirm indeed that “you are dead”
and that the life you have now is Christ living in you?
 there was a girl that was brought to stay in my house to learn for a while
by her parents. She is full of anger and lacks manners. My relationship
with this girl confirms to me that I am dead and Christ is the one living
now in me. Whenever she frowns her face or misbehave, immediately I
will hear the “man inside guiding me of what to do, when to correct her
and what to say each time I do it, there will be a positive result.
 My niece as I earlier mentioned also helped me to confirm we are now
friends, no more operation fire for fire mum as I was. The new creation
 man is the one training her now and she is picking gradually. There is
change.
 With the presence of the new creation man I could confirm that the
Christian life is not a struggle, it is a simple life.
 My husband will once a while exclaim and say thank God for Milert.
 Conjugal relationship now is oh – perfect. I desire strongly that the Lord
will continue to help me to grow daily and speedily to maturity
confirming to the image of Jesus to become like Him in character and
life.

QUESTION THREE
A. Did you encounter any challenges as you carried this New man about in
your home, church and place of work.

 the basic challenge that I have is that I do sometimes forget that it is no

longer Rosemary that is living but Christ Himself. So I will want to
respond to situations, do things the way I have been used to before I will
now remember and would want to turn to Him and ask Him to take the
lead.
 One day my colleague was to travel for three working days. She is
teaching Nursery one and I nursery two she was supposed to make
arrangement of how the children will be cared for before she comes back
while she will be away but she did nothing.
When I was going for Milert I arranged for someone to be teaching the
children.
 At first, I thought within me that I will leave the children the way she
chose it but when I came to school that Wednesday, seeing the children I
just stood quiet and the new creation man took over. He gave me the
wisdom that if not for Him I could not have done that. I picked some
children that are grown up and brought them to sit in my class and the
smaller ones I got someone to teach them till when she will be back.
Other colleagues commented with praise the headmaster praised me even
my colleague when she came back she was excited and happy with me.
I would have missed the lovely experience by just complain and anger if
not for the new creation man.
 to mention again, my challenge is trying to take a step, go ahead of the
new creation man.
B. How did you overcome those challenges share briefly.
As earlier mentioned, in some of the experiences as I am learning the New
creation man and how to allow Him live His life in me. I sometimes see
myself wanting to do things like the way of the former. I always turn to the
man inside and allow Him to lead.
 I sent my children to the church together with the girl I earlier mentioned
that came to stay with us in the family to learn. On their way back from
the church the girl chooses to branch to their house so my niece and the
little ones came straight home because they have been taught so which is
the norms of our family. When she came back I had to ask the new
creation man whether I should rebuke her now or later He said not now.
Though I have taught the girl that whenever the need to send her arises
she must not branch anywhere. When it was night I ask Him and He said
call her and I will talk to her now.
As I depended on Him to speak to her after the talk she appreciated me
and left back to the room. After the correction, she never repeated it again
till now.
In summary, my victory is as I recognise the New creation man and allow
Him to talk, teach, correct, respond to situations etc. I thank God for
Milert and I just cannot stop thanking Him.
Prayer Request: - I want to grow speedily to maturity. I want to conform
to the image of our Lord Jesus in nature, character, in deeds, that I may
resemble Jesus.
Oh! That I may be like Jesus. Amen.
