THE WAY WITHIN

SIMRAN OF

NAAM or Gur-Mantra or 5 Names

at Tisra Til (Third Eye)

"PANCH NAAM KAA SUMIRAN KARO,

SHYAAM SET MEN SOORAT DHARO."
"Mentally repeat the Five Names , and gaze in the middle of the darkness within."

Preferred Simran pose

"One should sit cross- legged, keeping the back straight (neither stiff nor loose).
It is essential that the spinal column remains erect (on a firm surface). Sawan
Singh ... (Philosophy of the Masters)

"In other words, when performing Simran, please try to peep in the darkness which
is visible to closed eyes, but without strain on the eyes. To begin with listening to
the Sound, at the sacrifice of Simran, is putting the cart before the horse." Jagat
Singh ...(Science of Soul) P.153

discipline"...Charan Singh (Light on Sant Mat)
