Opening the brain to Wisdom
Chapter 1 Wisdom Chi Kung. When a person is full of hate, jealousy and other sorts of negative emotions, the brain can use 80% of the total body energy. Whe the brain begins to use, it doesn’t stop when it’s told to. The rest of the body has only 20% percent of it’s energy to use for all other intricate functions needed for daily activity. In this book the monkey mind will be presented, how to recognize it when it begins and how to respond correctly to its activity.
Basis of Theory So the secret of the practice is to sit down smile, relax and picture the eyes like sun shining on the water and suddenly you will start to feel something like a steam starting to rise up from your sacrum. You will this energy move up and begin to change the brain.. If you expand the mind out and connect with the Universe, bring the energy back and store it in the organs, when that energy is transformed and charged back up to the brain, that will bring the brain functioning at a new level. This energy has been transformed and digested so that the brain can use it
how to begin to manage the monkey mind and connect it down to our sexual organism turning this generated energy into fuel for the body. The process of storing undigested universal energy in the brain can actually have something like an allergic reaction which can cause an energy indigestion. In the Taoist practices we are always concerned about the lower tan tien. The problem is that our mind is patterned to function continuously without receiving messages from the rest of the body. So you must always have your focus o the lower tan tien to keep the fire burning. Inner smile . the energy here is the basis of all higher practices. Our mind will spin with no direction. or else this fire will burn out. This is very different then storing the Universal energy in the brain itself. Introduction of the monkey mind The sexual energy and the brain energy are the same energy and their communication with each other is vital for their healthy functioning. for the purpose of maintaining itself. In the next chapters. with no structure or discipline.effectively. this monkey mind will run loose and rampid.
Nearly every substance that helps run the brain and control it has turned up in the gut. Smiling into the organs will allow us to filter energy. Second Brain The gut has a mind of its own. This only done with a smile. stomach. record emotions and experiences. support cells like those found in the brain and a complex circuitry enables it to act independently send and receive impulses. giving just enough to charge the brain and revitalize the organs. The gut brain is a network of neurons. A clump of tissue called the neural crest forms early in the . Since off spring needs to eat.The most essential point is to connect all the organs and the brain…. nature seems to have preserved the enteric nervous system as an independent circuit loosely connected to the central nervous system. you can easily overheat the brain and that can cause sickness. The goal is to increase the capacity of the brain to hold energy because the brain is not capable of holding energy. neurotransmitters and proteins that zap messages between neurons. small intestine and colon. known as the enteric nevous system located in sheaths of tissue lining the esophagus.
one section forms the central nervous system another piece migrates to become the enteric nervous system. body and spirit must work together.more than the spinal cord has. Yet the vagus nerve only sends a couple of thousands nerve fibers to the gut. and the gut produces slow wave miscle movements and rapid muscle movements. this explains drug interactions that can affect both brains. The gut contains 100 millions neurons. later on they connect via a cable the vagus nerve in the brain. The brain sends signals to the gut by talking to a small number of command neurons. The ancients say that the secret of immortality is to transform all liquids into life force. . During both brains produce 90 minute cycles of slow wave sleep punctuated by periods of rapid eye movement sleep in which dreams occur. which in turn send signals to gut interneurons that carry messages up and down the pipe.embryogenesis. Reconnect to Yourself Taoism believes that the mind. The guts brain and the heads brain act the same way when they are deprived of input from the outside world.
We need to train the brain to increase its ability and its capacity to store energy. 4. The brain can access and generate the higher forces. as well as increase the number of synapses or connections between the nerve cells in the central nervous system. The three Tan Tien also can store energy as well as transform and supply it to the brain. Once a certain amount of energy has been generated. one can learn to grow more brain and nerve cells. some energy has to be dumped out. The organs of the body can also generate energy. but it is not easy to store this energy in the brain. but much less than the sexual organs and the brain. 2.1. they cannot store the energy efficiently. sexual organs and other organs. 3. They do however have a much greater capacity to store and transform energy. Taoists believe that with training and practice.Sexual organs: The Taoists discovered that although the sexual organs are responsible for generating life force energy. The brain energy. when increased to a certain level can enable more synapses to grow and can help convert protein into material the brain cells can use. . spinal cord.
!In order to activate this you must inhale and expand the chest arms bent at the elbows and extended to the sides of the body. spinal cord breathing. regulating the distribution of energy to all the different points along the meridians. tuck the tailbone under you and round the back. Wisdom Chi Kung Practice Preliminary Practices Breath Activation The first part of the practice is standing up.The aim of the training is to integrate the brain. Exhale. sexual organs and internal organs into one system. The sacrum needs to pump the fluid to flow up the spinal cord and to the brain. bringing the elbows toward one another in the . Separating the sacrum movement from the hip movement is important because they are very different movements. To activate this pump begins the perennial and sacral flow of energy. The first pump is the sacral or sacrum pump. If the brain generates an excess of energy. sustaining rhis flow throughout the body. this energy can be stored in the organs. Excess sexual energy can also be stored in the organs and the three Tan tiens. Spinal cord breathing is about activating the three pumps.
Very important because when you get older. The pump has to work against the force of gravity to push the fluid all the way up to the brain. these pumps will activate. Because the human stands erect. this will activate the cranial and sacral pumps and loosens all the joints in the spine. When the fluid circulates to these areas. expand the chest. no fluid for elasticity of the muscles and bones. push the chin back and raise the crown. When you start to rock the sacrum and the Door of Life center. so the sacrum pump will be activated and pump the fluid up the spinal cord. the brain is no longer fed by this fluid and large parts of its capacity are lost. both move and the fluid starts to circulate. above the sacrum. That’s why they shrink. inhale. Repeat this movement 36 times. By rocking and walking. touch the chin in toward the throat.front of the chest. bring the arms out toward the sides. Smile. the posture becomes more erect. ! The next pump is the door of life. it takes a powerful pump to pump the fluid all the way to the brain. . your stance will improve and height will increase. We need to move the sacrum back and forth in circles. including the lumbar spine.
parathyroid and thyroid glands and opens the lungs for increased oxygen. the entire spine and vertebrae and around the sacrum and pelvis. this can help move the blood. Because the neck and cranium are so connected with each other. the vibration in the tan tien is very strong. just like a heartbeat. cranial sutures.and the oxygen from your breath will induce appropriate movement of the blood in this area. moving the chi. but when the three pumps are activated. There are many reasons why these connections fail. Rock the neck back and forth 36 times. This flow is actually fluid called dural matter. by activating one . that lubricates the cranium.you activate the other. Breath and Laughter When you learn to laugh. there’s a natural flow of the energy through these pumps to activate chi and enliven the body. muscles. encased in a sac. inhale and exhale each time. This opens the neck. . The first opening part of the movement is to lower the chin down and pull the chin back so the sacrum pump also moves as well. including the breath. !The next pump we will call the cranial pump. laughing out loud. Three ways to laugh.
Keep on smiling. and just keep smiling down.laughing inside like something funny happens in the church.Feel the smiling energy in front of you. the first fire has been started. The Taoists believe that when this force is drained out. 1. You can touch the navel. 2.Lift up the corners of the mouth and empty your mind. the kidney fire is so important because it is the original force. Once you get it warm. the door of life and feel the door of life warm. there’s a fire burning here. empty your mind down to the Tan Tien. 3. inhale the smiling energy and exhale it down to the Tan Tien. When you get to a certain level the Tan tien starts to get warm. focus on this area. Laugh with the cranium.Fix a point in the abdominal area. your life . the fire burning under the sea. 5. Introduction to Three Fires We start smiling down to introduce the activation of the three fires. This is the kidney fire activating. 4. We are born with this force and are continuously using it throughout our lifetime.
This allows you to increase your energy more and more. mantras or focus. starts to develop new brain power. The goal is the energy. . begins to repair. In Tao we do not have all these other patterns in front. praying. This force is actually involved with the sexual energy. And then the energy begins to rebuild. Wisdom Chi Kung Practice Continue to bring your focus and Awareness to the Tan Tien and the activated fires in the body. the first step is to get the energy flowing. your life force is finished. singing. After that you move your hands and keep smiling down. Wether it’s chanting.force is drained out. You will feel that something actually begins to charge up to the brain. In the beginning you might feel something like a numbness in the brain. feel the heart fire activate and make this energy very soft. but go directly in practice. In all the meditative practices in the world.
Let them transform with Chi. Smile and relax empty the mind down to the bladder and sexual organs. relax and empty the mind down to the liver and gall bladder. Smile and relax empty the mind into the heart and small intestine.Activate the three fires. transformed energy will arise up and fill the back part of the brain. Smile. The bladder and sexual organs can store and transform Chi. Left and right side of the brain fill with kidney energy. Smile.spleen and pancreas. When we empty our mind into our organs. They will charge up and fill the front of the center of the brain. 95% of the attention on the tan tien. . The transformed Chi will rise up to fill the center of the brain. keep most focus at the tan tien. Chi transformed in liver will rise up to fill center of right brain.relax empty the mind down to the stomach. then smile to the kidneys and when kidneys are filled. This energy will charge up the left brain with energy. we will have extra energy to repair and heal the body. They can store and transform Chi.
