Kathmandu University School of Management Management Internship Program
Overview Kathmandu University School of Management offers Management Internship (PWM 703) to students pursuing MBA sixth term. This is a fourteen week program designed to provide students an opportunity for a meaningful career-related experience in real organizational settings before they graduate. Students will practice and expand upon their knowledge and skills learned in the classroom in a substantive work situation. Internships are a great way to learn; and sometimes earn! Students earn credit and increased marketability for the permanent job search while learning more about a specific field and applying classroom knowledge in a corporate environment. Companies benefit by saving on recruiting expenses and having the opportunity to evaluate student interns for full-time openings. The prospective intern, employer, and KUSOM Internship Coordinator will identify and design internship program, while the latter two will facilitate and evaluate the work output of the intern. Internship coordinator will help students identify internship opportunities, but it is the student’s responsibility to find the internship. Students are allowed to register for the Internship for three credits. The student must work six days a week for ten to fourteen weeks in an organization.
