Mission Statement 
● “The Ashland Pregnancy Care Center is a Christ-centered ministry offering compassion,
hope, and help to women and men facing critical pregnancy decisions by ​establishing
trusted relationships, ​equipping​ with education and resources, and ​empowering​ families
to live life according to God’s plan.”

What They Do 


● The Ashland Pregnancy Care Center is a Christ-centered ministry offering compassion,
hope, and help to women and men facing critical pregnancy decisions by ​establishing
trusted relationships, ​equipping​ with education and resources, and ​empowering​ families
to live life according to God’s plan.
● We serve Ashland and surrounding counties with free and confidential resources.
● In 2018, we served 210 clients and 86.7% were from Ashland County while 39% of our
clients were in the age range of 20-24. 
Embrace Grace Starter Kit and Love in a Box 
See attached papers for more details.
Women most at risk for an unplanned
pregnancy are 18-25 years old.
Overview:
● Embrace Grace is a program offering
a support system, providing spiritual,
emotional, and physical support for
single, young women experiencing an
unplanned pregnancy.
○ The starter kit is $400
● Love in a Box is a tool used to reach,
bless and encourage young women
with unplanned pregnancies and invite
them to the Embrace Grace group.
Each box includes a “Special Gift” postcard, handwritten “Dear Brave Girl” love letter,
“A Bump in Life” book, “Best Gift Ever” onesie, among other items
○ Each box costs $20. APCC would like to provide 30 boxes starting in the fall of
2019.

Ashland University and the Ashland Pregnancy Care Center 


○ The Ashland Pregnancy Care Center began as
Ashland Crisis Pregnancy Center in 1981, utilizing a
single room in Andrews Hall at Ashland College.
○ The Ashland Pregnancy Care Center participated in
the National ProLife Cupcake Day on October 9th by
passing out 300 free cupcakes and information about
the Center to AU students outside the Eagle’s Nest
○ The Ashland Pregnancy Care Center annual banquet
takes place at Ashland University and are community
partners with the University.
○ The Ashland Pregnancy Care Center plans to expand
its partnership with the campus by becoming more
involved with its students, especially once the
Embrace Grace and Love in a Box initiative begins.
