MATCHED

POWER

SUPPLIES

A matched power supply ls a neeessitv to a modern trananiltter. It will reduce the pr irrtary line current and 1-w,(Ik plate current o( the rectifying tubes. thus giving improved power ~upply regularlen and longer tube life c.x:p._;drmc_y.

Better regulation and lower ripple content may be expected because the chokes have been chosen for tim optimum fill~rLl1g action.

MODEL ST-20:2-A RADIO TR.ANS·MIITER

Fulfills the demand for a compact desk-type transmitter having substantlal power output. Internal j circuits lor radiotelephony have been purposely omitted to satisfy the "strictly CW" operator, but provisions have been made for application of a modulator.

The exciter circuit is built around a novel and hi-ghly simplified band switching arrangement involving only two receiving type tubes, a single deck band-switch coil assembly and one tuning capacitor. In "the neutralized power amplifier, the operator -may employ either a 351', 35TG, HK54, ,811, or 5514.

Features six-position crystal switching, two separate power supplies, meter sWi.ttbi.flg. Neat, uniform appearance assured b)' lise of prefabricated cable harnesses supplied with kit.

Accessories required, but not furnished, include milliammeter, set of five, tubes, amplifier tank coils and. crystals.
