- I can describe what kind of effects are presented in my data

PRE-ASSESSMENT: Describe links to prior knowledge.

- Students have been learning and creating various data collections such as tally charts, pictographs, bar
graphs and line plots to communicate information.
- Students have been learning that God the creator of earth made the world by completing it within six
days.
- Through scripture students have understanding that God wants us to love and appreciate the
environment that he created for us.
- Students have been understanding that God created the existence of all things on earth and nothing

on the smart board.

Lesson Template #1 1 Revised 2011

Activity/ action:
25 mins
- Students will work in groups of two
- They will collect and present data from the school in regards to what method is used to travel
to school. I.e. walking to school, driving to school, biking to school, etc.

Lesson conclusion/consolidation:
15 - Exchange results from data collected and how it may impact us and the world in connection
minutes to pollution
- Have students submit an exist ticket about their learning

ASSESSMENT (data collection) / EVALUATION (interpretation of data)

An exist ticket will be submitted:

What did you learn from the data collected? & what can you do now with that information to be good
stewards of the land?)
This exist ticket will be used as an evaluation for assessment for learning.

Accommodation/Modification

- Provide chrome books for students who require support for their writing
- Write step by step instructions on the board clearly
- Provide additional time for those who require it
