Liebe Modell-Freunde,
die Ankündigung der Wings-Neuheiten fallen für die Monate Juli / August 2008 nicht
ganz so umfangreich aus, als Sie das von uns gewohnt sind. Wie Sie wissen, konnte
ein großer Teil bereits angekündigter Modelle noch nicht ausgeliefert werden. Bewusst
halten wir uns deshalb momentan mit der Ankündigung weiterer Neuheiten zurück, um
zunächst die Rückstände der letzten Monate abzubauen.
Leider können wir auf die auch für uns derzeit unbefriedigende Liefersituation nur be-
dingt Einfluss nehmen. Wie Sie sicher wissen, wird ein Teil unserer Modelle seit 25 Jah-
ren in Fernost produziert, und so sind wir bei der Planung und Ankündigung unserer
Modelle von den Terminzusagen unserer Lieferanten abhängig. Diese beklagen derzeit
verschärfte Arbeitszeitvorschriften, die zwangsläufig zu personellen Engpässen sowie
einer geringeren Flexibilität bei der Produktion führen. Im vergangenen Jahr verur-
sachte der Umzug unseres Hauptlieferanten außerdem zusätzliche Verzögerungen bei
der Fertigung. Wir sind aber auch weiterhin auf eine Produktion in Fernost angewiesen,
weil eine Fertigung in Europa die Preise für die Modelle mindestens verdoppeln würde.

Wir hoffen, dass wir die Rückstände bis zum Erscheinen der September- / Oktober-
Neuheiten aufgeholt haben und dann wieder mit einem umfangreicheren Neuheitenpa-

The Wings new releases announcement for July / August 2008 will not be as compre-
hensive as you are accustomed to. As you are probably aware, a big part of already
announced models could not be delivered as of yet, which is why we are deliberately
refraining from further announcements to first work off the back orders of the previous
months.

caught up to be able to take-off with a more comprehensive new releases package
once again. We would like to thank you for your patience and understanding. Please
remain loyal to your hobby and in-so-doing to us, you won’t regret it!
