revival. But I believe that if we will keep in the fight and keep Holding on . Refusing to give
in or to give up. Then God will help us to fight the enemy. He is our Jehovah-jireh: The
Provider. God will still have a church in this world until God call’s it home.

Matthew 16:18

the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

No Matter What Hell launches against the church, if we will get a backbone like a saw log,

I want to shift you attention from another angle tonight moving from England to the
Pacific Tour.

One of the most horrific battles that took place in WWII was on a little island Called Iwo
Jima. This small seemingly insignificant island was a very important place of land, for at
that time our bombers could not make it from a safe sea distance all the way to Japan, but
Iwo Jima was close enough where it could be made, so the importance of this island was
vital to the victory over Japan. The generals knew this very well and knew the value of one
particular hill on that island, on the far end was mount Suribachi, but the Japanese were
well fortified all over this area and piece of land in caves and tunnels, NO amount of
bombing would defeat them, The Generals knew that it have to be taken at close range
combat. This Hill was a major point to winning ultimately the war, but It came at a great
price. When The Flag was Raised

: 6,000 Marines and Other Military Persons Paid With their Lives
: 17,200 were wounded
THE HILL HAD TO BE TAKEN the Japanese had lost the most at
: 21,000 Killed
: To Many to Count Wounded

It was their will to fight for the cause and give their lives, It was not the generals only who
made the decision to make it a Hill to Die on, It was the soldiers that made it the place that
they as may thousands before would give their lives for their country, Other Notable Hills
in Military History have been

• Seminary Ridge
• Big Round Top at Gettysburg
• Monte Casino at Italy
• Hamburger Hill in Korea
 • Hill 875 at Khe Sanh in Viet Nam
• The List Could go On forever of Hills That had to be taken

But I want this not to be a history lesson on WWII and Viet Nam, So I’m going to bring it
closer to home.

Joshua 14:6-14
Then the children of Judah came unto Joshua in Gilgal: and Caleb the son of Jephunneh the
Kenezite said unto him, Thou knowest the thing that the LORD said unto Moses the man of God

To Caleb Hebron was a vitally important Hill, he was by now in his 80’s and when they said
that there are Anakims there and you could be killed, he responded that I Shall be able to
drive thim out, this was not a statement of pride, but of an assurance that God was with
him. This area was to be greatly used throughout the history of Israel and had history
already, Mount Hebron was where Abram’s name Became Abraham, where old patriarch’s
of the faith were buried, it would become a city of Refuge and King David would even
spend the first 7 years of his reign there. Caleb knew the importance of this hill to Him it
was a hill to die on at all costs,

Taking it even Closer to home now, with Us and our Christian walk. With the Lord.
There are many Hills To Die on for us Apostolic’s, The Main Thing though in our lives that
I want to preach about tonight is that we are in the final moments of the closing hours of
the Church, God is wrapping things up, and preparing to Call the Church Home, and there
has been of late a large faction of the apostolic movement that wants to abandon our
foundational principals and go with the flow of the modern world, But we need to make
what we believe not only as a church but as individuals,

Young People: make up in your mind early in life that no matter what you will never GIVE
IN, ON ANYTHING SMALL OR GREAT, LARGE OR PETTY.

In our American secular class rooms our children are faced with a constant bombardment
of false doctrines and gross debauchery. I went to a public school all my life in and out of
the church, and it was never easy when the threats came, and the constant attack to take
God out of the class room, Because I couldn’t stand for It. It was a daily fight for me.

Holiness is a Hill To Die On,

Psalms 96:9 O worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness: fear before him, all the earth.

God Has Called Us To Be Holy as He Is Holy:

Leviticus 20:7
Sanctify yourselves therefore, and be ye holy: for I am the LORD your God.

1 Peter 1:16
Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.
Make HOLINESS Your Hill to die on, whether it’s on the Job at home, on vacation, at
school, don’t let people make fun and make you feel bad or try to convince you to change,
Your Not One Of Them

1 Peter 2:9
But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye
should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous
light:

As Brother Eply said: I can be one of you any day but your will never be what I am. Don’t
Compromise your standards to Gain Popularity or friends, please God, and your real
friends will be made clear.

Oneness is a Hill to Die On,

Don’t Go around with your head hung down, afraid to tell people you believe in One God,
Stand Up and Be as it was written in.

Romans 1:16
For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every
one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest
up.

Don’t be ashamed YOU GOT IT RIGHT THE REST OF THE CHURCH WORLD HAS IT
WRONG.

Zechariah 14:9
And the LORD shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one LORD, and his

and What is that Name:

JESUS.

DOCTRINE. GOD IS ONE. HOLD TO THAT BLESSED REVELATION, NEVER GIVE IN
TO ANY OTHER IDEA OR DOCTRINE

Salvation According to The Acts 2:38 Plan is a Hill to Die On

In this Last Day, we have got to make sure, we never compromise on this biblical fact. It takes
repentance, water baptism in Jesus Name for the remission of Sins, and the infilling of the Holy
Ghost By the evidence of speaking in other Tongues as The Spirit gives the utterance.

Acts 2:38-39
Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ
for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. (39) For the promise is
unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God
shall call.

Again There is No Bible That Supports The Sinners Prayer. We must never give in when the
world screams were to legalistic. If God’s word says it, that is it end of discussion. But I will
Come back to this at the end of the message.

And There are many many more Hills that we must Make ones that we are willing to Die On. We
Must accept the major ones but we must also in our walk devolve personal convictions and
personal hills to die on.

4. Closing Statements and Remarks

 a. Bringing It all Together and Making The Final Points
As The Church, continues on, and Hell still rages. God Still sits on the throne, and will help us,
In this last day.

I Took the Title “ Our Finest Hour” Because, I believe with all of my heart, and I hope that I have
expressed that tonight that God Is Coming Back soon, and God Has Promised this church
Revival. I believe that as the world goes more and more into darkness the more and more the
church will shine, There isn’t a Day that goes by, where I see or Hear a Sinner mention, longing
for or wanting a Change or life or direction. New Life We are The Answer. This Next Few
Months and years Let It Be Our Finest Hour.

To Take Winston Churchill’s Speech and adapt it to I, I would say it like this

“The Devil Knows that he will have to break us in our doctrine, our walk, and our convictions or
loose this city, if we Can stand Up to him, all of Olathe May Be Free and the life of this world
may move forward into broad, sunlit uplands. But if we fail then all the souls including all that
we have known and cared for, will sink into the abyss of hell and be lost for eternity, So let us
therefore brace ourselves to our duties , and so bear ourselves that, If The Church Of Olathe last
for a thousand years, men will say “ This Was Their Finest Hour”

I want to see revival More and More, and this can be done while maintaining a good standing
with God. With out Compromising or backing down, But through prayer, preaching, and and
study of the word of God.

As I close, General Douglas MacArthur spoke these chilling words to the graduates at west
point.The Long Gray Line Has Never Failed Us. Were you to do so, a million ghosts in kaki gray
and olive drap would rise up and say Duty, HONOR, Courage. If we fail to pass this on or fail to
hold our Hill, and just give in and give up. Then A Thousand Pentecostal pioneeres will rise Up
and say Duty Faithfulness and Courage. The Ghosts of Jesse James Henningan, Lonnie and Paul
Hosch, Oliver Fauss, GT Haywood, S.L. Wise, V.A. Guidroz, Carl Ballestero, E.L. Holly. David
Gray, I. H. Terry, Lonny Marcus, and J.A. Davis. The ones who paved the way for us and paid
the prices of ultimate victory, And Held their Hills at all Cost no matter what came, or was said
about them. We Cannot let their work go in vain, we must go On Fighting.

One Last Thing

This Can Be Our Finest Hour If we remain Faithfull in these perilous times, love truth, and
delight ourselves, in the Lord.

Psalms 37:4
Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.
But If We Appease the enemy, negotiate a piece treaty, or surrender our positions to gain
popularity or fame. And may be very dissoulsioned at best, and at worst loose our souls. If we
give up on the success of truth. We will loose our future generations, and Are can cause our
Childeren to be lost.

Daniel 3:17-18
If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he
will deliver us out of thine hand, O king. (18) But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we
will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.
