Inside write about the Liberty Tree.

French and Indian War intruction:

Cut out matchbook all in one piece. Fold front flap down and "Date" flap up over front of the front flap.

Inside wirte the date of the French and Indian War.

Date: The French & Indian War lasted seven years from 175-1763.

Townsend Act

Townsend Act- June 29, 1767. Taxes on glass, paint, oil, lead, paper, and tea and to establish that the British Parliament had the right to tax the colonies.

Stamp Act- November 1, 1765. It places a tax on all paper products.

Tea Act- May 10, 1773. An import tax was placed on all tea being bought by merchants in the colonies.

Sugar Act- March 1733. Tax on sugar and molasses imports from non-British colonies. The Act was not passed for the purpose of raising revenue.
