Creation of the Student Association Commission on Review and
Reform
Whereas, The Student Association General Assembly has passed Resolution 10-11-002: A
Resolution Compelling the Speaker to Establish a Student Association Constitution
Review Committee
Whereas, and the Speaker is given the power to create ad-hoc committees in Section 2.06,
Subsection 7 of the Student Association By-Laws
Be it enacted that, A Student Association Commission on Review and Reform is established
under the aforementioned sections and subsections of the by-laws

Be it further enacted, That this Commission shall be limited to no more than thirteen (13)
members of the Student Association, appointed by the Speaker

Be it further enacted, That the following members of the Student Association are appointed to
the Commission:

(i) Thomas HORSMAN ’11, Delegate

(ii) Joseph ST. GEORGE ’11, Delegate
(iii) Rachael STAAB ’11, Director of SFAB
(iv) Natasha MEDEIROS ’12, SFAB Liaison
(v) Jonathan SITKO ’11, Chief Justice of the Student Court
(vi) Ryan FECTEAU ’14, Delegate
(vii) Andrea RAFFLE ’14, Delegate
(viii) John MCCARTHY ’13, Delegate
(ix) Gina MCLAUGHLIN ’13, SFAB Liaison
(x) Leslie MARTIN ’12, Delegate
(xi) Patrick BURKE ’14, Associate Justice of the Student Court
(xii) Victoria PERRONE ’12, Delegate
(xiii) Chris PIERNO ’11, Speaker of the Student Association General Assembly

Be it further enacted, That this Commission shall prepare a report of non-binding
recommendations to the General Assembly at its February 16th, 2011 meeting

Be it further enacted, That the final report must be voted upon by the entire Commission by a
simple majority

Be it further enacted, That all meetings of the Commission will be open to the public

Be it further enacted, That this Commission will be dismissed after the February 16th, 2011
General Assembly meeting

Be it further enacted, That since the Assembly has already voted in favor a resolution to create
such a committee, no further action is required of the Assembly to confirm the creation
of the Commission.
