Dear Colleagues,
It gives us great pleasure to announce the
“16th National Seminar on Physics and Technology of
Sensor (NSPTS-16)” to be held from February 11 – 13,
2011 at the Department of Physics, University of
Lucknow, Lucknow. Research on sensors and material
science has come to the front of R & D activities due to
their key role in all spheres of technology. Advancement
in the sensor technology is the most exciting field having
the potential to change the socio-economic scenario of
the country. We extend cordial invitation to all of you to
participate in the Conference to make it a grand
success.

ABSTRACT AND PAPER SUBMISSION


The Organizing Committee invites original research
papers for Oral/Poster presentation. Authors are
requested to send their extended abstract (one page,10
pt. in Times New Roman, typed in single space) in MS-
WORD on or before 15th December 2010 on the link
given on the website or by email to
nspts16@gmail.com. Full length paper should be
prepared in the following format and must be submitted
on the above mentioned email address before 30th
December 2011.

student hostels free of charge. Efforts will also be made

other guest houses on payment of nominal fee. Hotel

ABOUT LUCKNOW CITY


Lucknow is situated on the banks of river Gomti. The
imperialistic splendor and magnificence of the Nawabi
era have been glorified and eulogized down the ages by
the writers, poets and historians alike. Lucknow is
known for its 'Adab' and 'Tahjeeb' (cultural refinement).
The city is also famous for its world-renowned cuisine.
Tremors of time have not effaced Lucknow of its cultural
heritage and traditions, which once contributed in
creating the city, incomparable in its times.
Lucknow is well connected to most of the cities by rail,
road or flight. The climate is pleasant in November. The
temperature is around 25oC in the day and close to 18oC
at night.
