1. Start with an inverted bird base. Then fold the flaps in about 1/3 f the way in to the c e n t e r. R e p e a t o n b a c k s i d e . 2. 3. Va l l e y f o l d t h e t o p flap down. Pleat the lower flap upwards as shown.

Colleen was in 7th grade when I wrote the curriculum for Origami and taught it as a student t e a c h e r.
