Sustainability:

Maxeh®
is
sustainable
since
it
reduces
to
minimum
the
energy
consumption
in
all
its
phases.
The
product
it
is
an
extremely
effective

natural
insulator,
it
is
strong,
stable
and
it
is
completely
biodegradable.
Its
most
attractive
quality
is
the
low
cost.

 Maxeh®
is
a
material
that
emits
few
or
no
carcinogens,
reproductive
toxicants,
or
irritants.
Maxeh
constructions
use
a
small

average
of
cement
and
agro‐chemicals
friendly
with
the
environment.
Maxeh
maximizes
resources
and
energy
efficiency
while

reducing
energy
used
in
all
its
phases.
These
properties
enhance
the
indoor
air
quality
of
the
spaces.

 One
of
the
advantages
when
using
Maxeh®
is
the
thermal
property
of
the
resulting
product.
Insulation
is
rated
in
terms
of

thermal
resistance,
called
R‐value,
which
indicates
the
resistance
to
heat
flow.
The
higher
the
R‐value,
the
greater
the
insulating

effectiveness:

Maxeh®
is
a
sustainable

material
because:

 It
has
minimum
waste.

 Can
be
recycled

 Has
inherent
thermal
mass.

 Makes
durable
elements.

 Is
natural
and
non
toxic

 Has
low
embodied
energy

 Is
economically
inexpensive.

Resource
efficiency:

 Silty
Sand,
the
inorganic
soil
appropriate
for
the
Maxeh®
concrete,
is
natural,
plentiful
and
inexpensive.
Its
extraction
is
simple

and
ready
for
use.
Compared
to
regular
concrete
that
needs
sand
and
gravel,
aggregates
that
require
quarries,
machinery
and

decompensate
the
natural
habitats
of
rivers.

Strength

 When
producing
concrete
made
with
Maxeh®,
we
can
achieve
similar
resistances
to
the
usual
concrete
(60

F’c)
depending

on
the
relation
of
soil‐cement
involved.

By
approving
all
requirements
of
workability,
mechanics
and
durable
characteristics
of
regular
concrete,
it
is
possible
to
use

the
product
in
all
types
of
construction:

1. Walls

2. Pavements

3. Prefabricated
elements

4. Drainage

5. Roads

6. Floors

7. Slabs

8. Mortar

Used
in
all
types
of
buildings,
housing,
office
buildings,

Industrial
uses:

 Efficient,
 versatile,
 simple
 and
 adaptable;
 Maxeh®
 can
 be
 used
 in
 combination
 with
 the
 existing
 and
 traditional
 systems.

Concrete
produced
with
Maxeh
integrate
a
mass
that
may
be
molded
into
a
determined
form
and
when
hardened
it
turns
into
a

trustable
structural
element,
durable
and
resistant
perfectly
adapted
for
the
regular
concrete
construction
industry.

Housing

The
cost
of
production
in
housing
can
be
diminished
considerably
when
using
MAXEh
in
walls.
The
existing
system
is
that
of

the
poured
concrete
and
works
with
molds
and
similar
systems
to
earn
time
and
money
while
creating
a
durable
structure.

The
thermic
properties
of
the
resulting
material
are
similar
to
those
of
the
adobe,
providing
a
confortable
temperature
for

the
users.

The
construction
method
for
walls
cost
less
than

the
currently
used
standard
material
such
as

brick,
concrete
block
or
regular
concrete.

 Wall
thickness,
length
&
height
can
be

configured
to
meet
any
architectural
or

engineering
requirements

 Surface
treatments
such
as
textures,
shapes

and
colors
are
easily
produced.

 The
admixtures
of
concrete
can
be
used
with

Maxeh,
with
comparable
results.

 Maxeh
is
easy
to
remodel
or
cut
through.

The
MAXEh
P.I.P.
(pour
in
place)
System
offers
enormous
advantages.

1. The
forms
are
high
density,
impact
resistant
plastic
allowing
multiple
use,
are
easily
assembled
and
reasonably
priced

compared
to
other
existing
form
systems.

2. On‐site
mixing
and
the
MAXEh
P.I.P.
System
lowers
construction
time
significantly.

This
enables
a
greater
number
of
housing
units
to
be
built
in
the
same
time
frame
and
at
lower
cost
than
other

conventional
methods.

MAXEh
can
help
solve
the
world’s
hunger
for
housing
because
it
can
build
more
houses
for
more
people
at
less
cost.
MAXEh,

therefore,
can
improve
living
conditions
for
millions
in
every
nation
on
earth.
