2. GROUP ASSIGNMENT DETAILS :

1. Students of this course must form a group of 6 members only. Each group needs
to discuss and plan how to divide the task well. Each group is also asked to find
a film that can be analysed through the concept of interpersonal communication.

2. As learned in the KOH 3433 Interpersonal Communications course various


issues exist in interpersonal communication. Each group needs to explain the
diversity of interpersonal communication issues in the selected films. Thus, every
individual who sits on the group is responsible for planning and ensuring the
success of their respective tasks.

3. Based on discussion and searching for information from the reference textbook,
each member must select a title/chapter of communication between individuals of
each person.

4. Then students must do the analysis and things that need to be in this assignment
(report) are;
a) Introduction to the film in general
b) The synopsis
c) Analysis of chapter/title selected by each member through the film.
Explain the chapter/title, how it is instilled through characters and scenes
and solutions to the problems/situations expressed through the film.
d) Your critical views on selected movies and related concepts (150-200
words only).

e) Conclusion

5. In the 11th week, students were asked to present their analysis of selected films
in the following points;
i. Highlight the analysis of the film in the most creative ways.
ii. Give a description of the issue you selected;
iii. Offer solutions to the featured issues.
iv. You can also use side materials such as PowerPoint, music, etc. for
'props' during presentations.
