A AA A5 5 5 5 Leia o que Charlotte Stone fala sobre a BISG:

I work for BISG, British International Stores Group. In our shops, we have employees (=people who work for our company) who
have full time jobs. Full-time employees usually work around 40 hours a week, but they can also do overtime (horas-extra),
where they work longer and get more money. Some employees have a part-time job. For example, some people work 20 hours
a week. Most people at BISG have a permanent job – they have no finish date. Some people here do temporary work for a
shor period. Every employee has a contract, an agreement about how long they work, when they work, etc.
When employees at BISG are 65, they retire (aposentam-se). They receive a good pension (aposentadoria). If someone leaves
the company, for example to move to another company, they resign (pedir demissão). We make people redundant if we don’t
need them anymore – if we don’t have work for them, or if we have financial problems. Sometimes we ask a person to leave the
company, or dismiss / fire them. I work with people: I work with customers. But other colleagues work with suppliers, the
companies that we buy products from, and others work with computers. I like my colleagues.
