COVID-19 REQUIREMENTS
The City of Dripping Springs has cancelled most private events being held
at Dripping Springs Ranch Park Arena and Event Center-- the location of
the 2021 Happy Trails race.

Many conversations have been had with the city. Our goal is to do what is
required to be able to hold Happy Trails in person instead of virtually. We
feel that we speak for most runners when we say, “we just want to be
outside, on the trail to run.”

To ensure a safe event that allows for social distancing, the City of
Dripping Springs requires that the following be communicated to race
participants, volunteers, and spectators:

Stay at home if you feel sick or have been exposed to someone with
COVID-19.
If, on race morning, you have a fever, please stay home and contact the
race director.
Face coverings are required
Stay at least 6' away for others, when possible.
Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the
trash and wash your hands.
Do not touch your eyes, nose, and mouth.
Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
WELCOME!
Everyone should have the opportunity to try trail

running. When I first started trail running, the only

race distance available was a 50K and let's face it,

you don't have to run a 50K to call yourself a trail

runner.

This year's race we are taking extra measures to

provide a safe environment for athletes, spectators,

staff, and volunteers. COVID-19 requirements are

outlined in this guide. Thank you in advance for

following them--this enables us to race in person.

Before Happy Treading, there was Trailhead

Running-- my first opportunity to encourage women

to trail run, putting speed and distance aside and

instead focusing on building a community of

runners. Life happens and change is inevitable. The

Trailhead Running book closed and Happy Treading

was born--still encouraging women to trail run and

providing opportunities to do so.

Welcome to Happy Trails Trail Race, our third trail

race under Happy Treading. I am grateful that you

chose to spend your morning with us. We strive to
provide a well-marked course, a fun and

encouraging atmosphere.

Happy Treading,

Richelle Criswell

BIB BOARDS
BibBoards
Snap and Lock Reusable Bib Fasteners
BibBoards have a flat smooth surface that will not

chafe. A second piece works by pushing part of

the garment into a recess, providing a secure fit.

When the event is over, they pop off. BibBoards

can be reused, and their special shape holds

down a bib MORE secure than without the fuss or

holes. #SavetheShirt

BibBoard will be available at packet pickup

Skip the safety pins and purchase your own

BibBoards for $5 . You'll be able to reuse the for

all your races!

**safety pins will still be available should you

chose not to purchase BibBoards.
