I contacted Brock at her residence and she advised that she had been on a walk
earlier on NW Lincoln Street. Brock was approximately in the 300 block when
she saw four deer. Brock kept walking and could hear some rustling. All of a
sudden the deer took off and Brock turned around to see a cougar chasing the
deer. Brock advised that the cougar went up the towards Strawberry Mountain.
I called Chief Hepner just as information and also called Todd Jacobson from
the WSDFW. Jacobson wasn't working but advised that he would be sending
someone out. I checked the area and was UTL. The incident had occurred at
approximately 0845-0850 hours. W-6
