Getting scholarship in an esteemed organization is considered to be an arduous task for an
ordinary student, but I am not an ordinary rather extra ordinary.
I got Gold medal at the end of my bachelors in BS(Telecommunication Engineering) from a well
known university “National university FAST” which is ranked in top 5 universities of Pakistan.
After my bachelors I had been appointed as a Lab Engineer in same university from where I did
my bachelors and I started my teaching career.
At the time of my secondary school studies, there was a chapter at the end of the book
titled as “Electricity and Magnetism” and I used to study it at my home waiting through out the
year for studying that chapter in class by the teacher. Realizing the fact that my concepts were
sharp in physics , mathematics and all those chapters related to engineering especially
associated to Electrical Engineering I decided at that time to pursue my career as Electrical
Engineer.
My father died in 2004 after which our family was suffering economically. So I started giving
tuitions to secondary school students for my pocket money as my fee in the college (Edwards
college Peshawar) were waived off due my strong academics. I continued giving tuitions to the
college students when I got admission at National university FAST, Peshawar campus.
Regardless of all this struggle , taking classes , giving tuitions and going back to home late
night I mostly secured first position.
The above paragraph is a proof of my extra ordinary time management quality that having
only two hours to study and regardless of all the busy life struggling for money I mostly secured
first position . I topped my school, I got Gold Medal in College and then I got Gold Medal in
BS(Telecommunication Engineering ) from National university as well .
My field of interest includes , Electromagnetic Theory , Wave Propagation and Antenna
Theory , Microwave Engineering .RF Circuits and other subjects related to RF .When I took a
step in my professional career of Teaching , I was assigned to teach Lab of “Wave Propagation
and Antenna Theory ” and Lab of “Feed back and Control System”. I have re -designed
practically a lot of antennas , simulate them and analyze their performance using software and
at different hardware platforms designed for checking antennas performance at different
frequencies .In the Lab of Feedback Control system I designed a lot of Programmable Logic
Control hardware mini projects and tasks for my students and made them able to make
industry projects related to PLC.The Antennas that I have redesigned practically , simulate
them and analyze their performance includes YagiUda(750MHZ, 2.4GHZ for Wifi), Log Periodic
(750MHZ) , Loop Antennas (500KHZ, 750MHZ), Micro Strip Antennas(2.4 GHZ for Wifi, 5.8MHZ
for Wimax).Simulators that I have mostly used for antenna designing are HFSS, Antenna Megas,
Matlab , Puff(Microstrip transmission lines)etc.
In short I have 6months experience in Antenna designing.
I am good at Co Curricular activities and got positions a lot of times in Debate competition at
National Level .

Goal of study &

o Goal of study, title or subject of research, and detailed study plan
Study Plan

I want to pursue my MS degree in Electrical Engineering with major in Wave propagation and Antenna Theory, Microwave
Engineering, RF Electronics, Wireless and Mobile Communication, Telecom Transmission and Switching, Networks , Fiber optic
communications Digital signal Processing.
I want to pursue my research in Antenna Designing, Wave guides, RF electronics., Micro wave Antennas.
The reason why I have chosen all these subjects is that they all are linked in designing a Communication System . I want to develop a
new communication system which should be more efficient than existing Wimax, GSM , CDMA and other systems because all the
existing systems have some flaws and limitations .
The subjects that I have chosen will help me out in designing communication system, using knowledge of my research that I will
pursue, which will help me to improve efficiency of antenna which will finally leads to improve efficiency of System. Using RF
electronics knowledge I would be able to design efficient Amplifiers and oscillators for RF which would leads to improve in the
design of my transmitter and receiver and will reduce the noises produced because of design of transmitter and receiver.Using Telcom
switching knowledge I will try to develop new switching technique for efficient transmission of network..

I will pursue my research in Antenna designing , its range improvement , it efficiency factors , will study Microwave antennas and try
to find good solution for their line of site limitations . in RF electronics I would try to make new efficient Amplifiers especially now a
days research is going on , in high efficiency class E amplifiers . In Antenna designing Micro Stripe Antenna for mobile is a hot topic
now a days and a lot of research is going on . I would also try to do research in Digital signal processing but my emphases would be in
Antenna designing and RF Electronics.

Future Plan
o Future plan in Korea or another country after study in Korea
after Study

After my Masters, I want to do some industry projects related to my research in Antennas or RF electronics which ever
possible research I would be able to do.
After getting knowledge of industry problems that they are facing, I would then pursue my P.H.D in those industry
problems that would help industry .

I do not want to do any research which would not help in industry or would not help common man that’s why I want to
have industry exposure after my Masters from Korea .Then finding the problems industry is facing I would do research
in those industry related problems which would be beneficial to industry and common man.
