NUMBER: AFEIDAVIT IN SUPPORT OF ARREST WARRANT Before me, a JUDGE of the CIRCUIT COURT, in and for Manatee County, Florida, DETECTIVE Robert Meyer, a duly swom officer of the MANATEE COUNTY SHERIFF'S. OFFICE, personally or by swom attestment says thet on or about the 23rd of November, 2020 in the aforesaid county, one GEORGE JACOB FRISCH, did unlawfully commit: ‘Count I ~ Grand Theft 20K DOLS LESS THAN 100K DOLS, contrary to Florida Statutes, section 812.014 2b1, a felony of the 2nd degree: in such case made and provided and against the peace and dignity of the State of Florida, To Wit; ‘On 11/23/2020, George Jacob Frisch violated the above mentioned FSS in Manatee County, Florida as follows. On 11/23/2020 the suspect, George Frisch, brought his 2018 GMC Sierra 2500HD Denali, ‘bearing VIN 1GT12UEY4JF173622 to Conley Buick GMC (hereafter noted as CBG), George brought the truck to CBG to sel it as they purchase used vehicles. ‘The staff at CBG agreed to purchase the vehicle in the amount of $52,000. George and CBG ‘completed the transaction paperwork. The paper work showed that George sold the truck to CBG on 11/23/2020. CBG wrote two checks for the vehicle; ‘The first check was written out to Ally Bank to satisfy the outstanding Joan in the amount of $35,754.82. ‘The second check was written out to George Frisch in the amount of $16,245.18. Ally Bank provided a written notice on 11/27/2020, advising that the loan on the truck was satisfied. The truck now had a clean and clear title in Florida. 2 E-Filed with MCCC - 2021CF000816AX- 3/22/2021 2:59 PM - PG 1 of 2.CBG wrote check number 041668 out to George Frisch on 12/04/2020. This check was written after they received notice that the Joan was satisfied with Ally Benk. This check showed thet it hhad cleared the bank on 12/09/2020. A copy of the canceled check showed "For Deposit", and then George's signature undemeath it. The signature appeared to match that of known signatures of George. After CBG and George completed the transaction, George asked to take the truck to clean it out. ‘They agreed, and George left with the truck. George never brought the truck back to CBG. This has deprived CBG out of $52,000. ‘On 02/19/20210, George brought the same aforementioned truck to Auto Nation Ford in ‘Manatee County, FL, George obtained a duplicate title to the truck from the DMV. This title now showed the truck had no lien on it. George proceeded to sel this truck to Auto Nation Ford for the amount of $50,699, George completed the deal with Auto Nation Ford knowing that he had no rights to the vehicle. Based on the above facts and evidence, I believe Probable Cause exists to arrest George Frisch for committing Grand Theft 20k-100k, by depriving Conley Buick GMC out of $52,000. ‘The defendant, GEORGE JACOB FRISCH _, did commit the above described offenses contrary to Florida Statutes in such case made and provided and against the peace and dignity of. the State of Florida.
