❖ Other than using paper towels, hand dryers can be used as a substitute.

The use of paper towels result from the cutting down of trees which cause

deforestation, the loss of homes to wild life, and flooding which are very

detrimental to the eco- friendly system. But by using hand dryers which are

electrical loss and loss trees are cut down, floods are prevented and wildlife are

protected.

❖ Several sections were lawn without grass.

Grass plays a key role in preventing soil erosion; its roots help to absorb the water

along with the dirt fast steadfastly , if grass is not sewed in each section that is

needed soil erosion will commence and this tourist destinatination will experience

a decrease in revenue and visitors.

❖ Giving the house an aesthetic Face life.

This means maintaining its beauty so that there will be more attraction, visitors

will be intrigued and revenues will be made along with the house having very

mentionable names outside of its country.

❖ Craft vendors should wear mask and always have hand sanitizers

Due to the pandemic skyrocketing more and more businesses are being pressured

into following protocols, especially the tourism sectors. Due to those different

countries, craft vendors need to wear masks since they are to interact with persons

and if they are seen without a mask they will face a penalty of being arrested and

the estate will be closed down.

Assessment Impact

Rose Hall Great House is one of the tourist historical sites/destinations in Jamaica

that receives tourists each year. Rose Hall was once a Britain plantation in the 18th

century that was built by british planter John Palmer, was later on renovated in the

1960s and was until this day used as a tourist destination. During an excursion, a

group of six form students were gathered together to commence an interview with

the operator of Rose Hall Great House for their internal assessment. After the

interview had been conducted a tour was given to the estate, where different
sections of the Great House were provided. Nearing the conclusion of the tour two

environmental impacts were identified. The first being that parts of the estate were

not grassed and this is a serious problem because it could lead to severe soil

erosion. Soil erosion can cause the land to tear away which will result in property

damage, attraction will be downgraded which will result in decrease of tourism and

revenue. Secondly were not accomplished with their masks, which is detrimental to

both tourists who visit and co-workers in the tourist sector. If workers are seen

without their mask and are interacting with tourists the estate/destination may face

the penalty of being closed down for a period of time.

Suggestion can be given to help RoseHall great house estate to prevent closure.

Rose Hall, a great house, can sow grass on different sections of the estate to

prevent soil erosion, so that decrease in revenues and tourism does not commence.

Along with ensuring that the co-worker or accompanied with their mask and hand

sanitizes.
