Responsibilities/ NAVTEQ is the leading provider of digital map data for Vehicle Navigation, Internet & Wireless
Requirements: applications and Business Solutions. Cutting edge applications such as these are part of a
growing set of applications that enhance consumer's access to information while they are mobile.
We have coined the term informed mobility' to represent this emerging need.

NAVTEQ data is used in virtually all of the leading navigation systems in both North America and
Europe. Our customers rely on NAVTEQ digital map information for use in their applications
based on its accuracy, detail and completeness.

We are currently looking for a Ä  

in Indonesia.


Lead product strategy and product requirements definition to deliver NAVTEQ¶s Map products in

ð Be the country expert and to fully understand the market requirement and competition in
the each local market
ð Provide product support to Customer, Sales and other departments on Indonesia
ð Establishes annual product plans and product budget for region
ð Work closely with various internal departments to turn product vision into reality; provide
clear product requirement and project prioritization
ð Work with a diverse set of stakeholders (research & development, operational groups,
sales) to balance business and technical concerns to ensure delivery of world-class
products to the market
ð Provides internal direction to operational groups on product roadmap and plans
ð "Own" funding and delivery of products to the market ± Manage scope, delivery timing,
functional requirements, etc.
ð Be the internal authority on products in the Indonesia region.

ð Bachelor¶s degree required; MBA preferred
ð Minimum 5 years general business experience in either product marketing or product
management roles with proven track records
ð Experience working in a Global or Regional team preferred
ð Prior experience working in Southeast Asia and / Indonesia region preferred
ð Background in consumer electronics, Internet and/or mobile applications preferred
ð Background in mapping and geospatial data products is a plus
ð Experience in a technically complex environments a plus (database or software
ð Ability to operate with self-initiative in ambiguous/dynamic situations
ð Ability to work effectively under pressure & meet deadlines
ð Ability to communicate complex ideas in a clear, concise manner
ð Experience in Microsoft office applications (Excel, Powerpoint, Access) required
ð Expertise in GIS applications (ESRI Products, MapInfo, CAD) is a plus
