Combined Entrance Test-2010 conducted by HNB Garhwal University (A Central University).
You are therefore requested to ensure your presence in person at the mentioned Counseling Centre
as per the given date and time. You are further required to bring all your testimonials/certificates/
documents in original and one set of attested photocopy on the reporting date.

Documents to be produced at the time of Counseling:

1. Counseling Call Letter.
2. High School Certificate as a proof of date of birth.
3. Mark sheets and certificates of qualifying examination, Intermediate or 10+2 or equivalent.
4. NCC/NSS/Sports Certificates (if claiming for weightage).
5. Category Certificates for SC/ST/OBC/Defense Personnel or dependant/ PH/FF, issued by
competent authority.
6. Gap Year Affidavit (if applicable).

The Counseling shall be based on your merit in the entrance test. If offered admission, candidate
has to take admission by dated 27-08-2010, by filling up a prescribed admission form and by depositing
required fees, failing which admission offer to him/her will be treated cancelled, and the seat will be
offered to the next candidate in the merit list.
The candidate should note that this letter is only for counseling and it does not give any guarantee
for admission. The admission will be subject to the availability of the seats in the respective categories
of the course, and fulfillment of the eligibility criterion the candidate for that course.
It may be noted that the university does not guarantee to provide Hostel Accommodation to all the
students admitted to various courses. No student admitted to University can claim the hostel seat as the
matter of right. If hostel seat is allotted, student has to pay the fee and other charges of the hostel separately,
in addition to the course and other fee as stated above. The details are available on the University Website
www.hnbgu.ac.in.
In view of the present weather conditions of the region, the candidates are advised to arrive one
day before the reporting date. Further, they are also advised to make arrangement to stay one day more
in case counseling continues to late hours.
