Denim Group Signs Cooperative Research and Development

Agreement with US Air Force’s
688th Information Operations Wing

San Antonio, TX – March 9, 2011 - Denim Group, an IT consultancy that develops secure
software and helps organizations assess and mitigate risks with their existing software, today
announced that it has signed a Cooperative Research and Development Agreement (CRADA)
with the 688th Information Operations Wing (IOW), the U.S. Air Force’s leading unit for
information operations and cyberspace tools and tactics development.

“The 688th IOW, one of the Air Force organizations developing security technology for the
protection of USAF cyberspace systems, regularly works with outside organizations to identify
new technologies and innovative ways to solve certain operational problems,” said Mike Kretzer,
technical advisor to the 688th IOW commander. “We look forward to collaborating with Denim
Group to further enhance Air Force capabilities in the area of secure software.”

“We’re excited to work with the Air Force and the 688th IOW given their role in developing
future defenses for the most sensitive Air Force systems,” stated John Dickson, Principal of
Denim Group. “This agreement is a great example of where both organizations can learn from
each other – Denim Group, with its experience with software security best practices in the
commercial sector, and the 688th IOW with its unique mission requirements to support combat
operations in the field.”
