CHILDREN IN CRISIS
A Season of Learning
March/April 2011 Praises
Training, though intense, is going very well. I am learning new ways to help those who have been through a crisis . During times of intercession I am feeling God increasing my burden for children in crisis and at times even give more structure to my calling. A recent change in my schedule will allow me to once again study and prepare with my curriculum like I previously had and want to do.
As a teacher I have always loved to learn new things. I have loved not just being the teacher, but also being able to be a student. I am in a huge learning phase right now in my life. In the midst of this time of learning God brought an unexpected, yet vital, area to my attention that I needed to grow in. That area is worship and intercession. I have learned that what I thought worship & intercession was and how I was to do it was a very limited picture. So in these beautiful mountains my Father is taking the time to re-teach me. This teaching is coming through books, teachings, the patience of incredible intercessors and application in the prayer room. I have learned that both of these are a way of life not just activities I so at a set time. It is meant to flow naturally from my heart to His and not be something I dread. The more I delve into it the more it becomes a part of my being and not just me doing. Please pray for the children of Abba House and their caretakers that all their needs will be met. Please pray that God will give me a clear vision of what He wants me to accomplish here and in the future. Please pray for me as I strive to not only learn the vocabulary but also to be able to get the pronunciation right.

Facts To Help Us Pray
There are many families that have adopted within and outside of the United States. Often through the media we only hear bad news about adoption. However, I have found that there is much more good to be found in these families. If you are thinking about adoption, please go to orphanjusticecenter.com and read the posts of families filled with joy over their new children.

Ways to Partner With Me
I can do nothing apart from God enabling, guiding, providing, and inspiring. I depend on prayer partners’ prayers to help move the mountains that the enemy has set up to keep these precious children in bondage. They need your prayers! I need your prayers! If you are not currently a prayer partner and would like to become one, please email me and I would love to add you to my support team.
There are three ways you can be a financial support partner. First, you can support me personally. This can be done as a one-time gift or an on going monthly gift. If you wish to do this go to the link below and in the comments simply put my name. You may also mail a check to the address below and write my name in the comment section.
There are nearly 500,000 children in foster in the U.S. 250,000 will never return home. 123,000 need homes right now. More than 29,000 aged out of foster care in 2008, at the age of 18, without anyone, to live on their own, unprepared, and unsupported.

Second, you can help me raise my support for upcoming missions trips. I will be going to Uganda sometime in early 2012. This support will be separate from the personal support. If you wish to do this you can follow the same directions as above. In the memo or comments put my name and missions trip. Third, you can go to the House of Friends website and go to the list of needs at the bottom left. These are all worthy investments of the Kingdom of God. Just follow the directions there if you wish to make a donation. Thank you for your support! To become a financial partner you may go to: http://www.houseoffriends.org/index.html You may also send donations to: House of Friends PO Box 228 Alma, MO 64001 All gifts are tax deductible.
Please pray and ask the Father what you role is in this crisis. Is it to adopt one of these children? Is it to provide care and support to those who have aged out? Is it to be a resource to those who have adopted or foster? Everyone has a part to play, what is yours? Please join with me in praying for these children.
