WASHINGTON, D.C. – Citizens United has filed a new Freedom of Information Act
(FOIA) request with the Department of Commerce. A summary of the request can be
found below:

In accordance with the Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the


following information: All emails, letters, and/or memos sent to or from or drafted
by the following Department of Commerce employees: Dr. Ron Jarmin, Acting
Director of the U.S. Census Bureau; Cynthia Aragon, White House Liaison;

Intergovernmental Affairs; Mike Harney, Chief of Staff; Natalie Evans Harris,
Senior Advisor to the Secretary; Othniel Harris, Special Assistant, Office of the
General Counsel; Sean Manning, Press Assistant, Office of the Secretary; Meghan
Maury, Senior Advisor, U.S. Census Bureau; Lauren Oppenheimer, Director of
Legislative and Intergovernmental Affairs, Office of Legislative and
Intergovernmental Affairs; Quentin Palfrey, Deputy General Counsel, Office of
the General Counsel; and/or Meron Yohannes, Policy Advisor, Office of Policy
and Strategic Planning including the following terms: Florida; Texas; Undercount;
Underrepresent; Reapportionment; Apportionment; House of Representatives;
Seats; Redistricting; Redistrict; Democrat; Republican; Underrepresented;
Undercounted; Pelosi; Majority; Colorado; Montana; North Carolina; Oregon;
California; Illinois; Michigan; New York; Ohio; Pennsylvania; and/or West
Virginia.

The time period for the request covers 1/20/21 to 5/17/21

The Department of Commerce has received the request.
