a) She is famous and versatile actress of Indian cinema, her mother was well-known
theatrre artist while her father was a great “URDU” poet and lyrist.
b) She made her film debut as laxmi in Shyam Bengal “Ankur” (1974) for which she
received the national award for best actress. Later on she acted with prominent director
like Satyajit roy, Mirnal sen, Gautam ghosh and others.
c) She dominated the parallel cinema since 70’s and 80’s, at the same time she appeared
in commercial hindi cinema and gave hit like ‘Amar Akbar Anthony’ and ‘Fakira’.
d) She is the winner of five national award for the film ‘Ankur’, and also received Filmfare
award for playing a betrayal wife in in the film ‘Arth’ in 1983.
e) She is also social and political activist, she has undertaken compaign and made public
statement close to her heart, particular social justice such as right for the women, plight
of slum dwellers, and she is leading advocate of AIDS awareness in india.

a) He was great patriot and and a determined fighter of national freedom, unlike other
prominent leader he strongly believed that an armed rebellion was necessary to wrest
independence from the British.
b) In 1943 he organized Indian national army, which led to country managed the country
free from Britishers.
c) He supported Britishers in 2nd worldwar between England and Soviat sangh(Later on it is
called Russia).
d) He posthumously decorated with Bharat Ratna in 1992.

pure and dedicated heart.
