Grades and Grade Points Grades and grade points will be awarded on the basis of marks obtained into the written, oral or practical examinations and/or laboratory performances according to the following scheme. Assessment and Evaluation The distribution of marks for a course will be as follows. (a) Theory Courses: 25% of total marks shall be taken as incourse assessment, 5% of total marks will be awarded on the basis of attendance, and 70% of total marks are taken as final examination after completion of the course. (b) Laboratory Courses: 40% of total marks are taken as continuous assessment, and 60% of total marks are taken as final examination after completion of the course.
