** Please note: All team rosters and race schedules are now posted online on the UBC REC website at **Please be sure that the information for your roster, race time, division, gender and category are all correct** **IMPORTANT** Clinics for Friday: Classroom Location Moved If your team is participating in any clinics tomorrow, Friday March 25th, please note that the classroom portion of the clinic will be happening in War 100, instead of in the Aquatic Centre. You can access War 100 by entering War Memorial Gym, going down the stairs at which point you should be able to see the UBC REC signs. After completing a waiver and the classroom section of your clinic your team can then move to practice on the wall. All teams must complete a clinic to be able to participate in Storm the Wall! Add/Drop Deadline: The deadline for adding and dropping players from your team roster cannot be completed any later than 5pm on Friday March 25th, 2011. That is TOMORRROW. At this point your roster will become final. If you have not met the roster requirements by this time, your team will not be eligible to advance. For Storm the Wall, your roster must meet the following requirements: • Min – Max Registrants: 5-6 • For Divisional teams, Max # of Imports: 1 o EXCEPTION: Hindmarch CoRec can not have any imports. • CoRec teams must meet the correct CoRec Ratio in order to be competitive: o CoRec Ratio = + or – 1 o 3 females, 2 males = CORRECT o 3 males, 2 females = CORRECT o 4 males, 1 female = INCORRECT Again, changes can be made until March 25th 2011, at 5PM. COMPETITIVE TEAMS:

Roster Changes and Substitution Rules: Race day changes are NOT permitted EXCEPT under one circumstance. If you advance to the semi’s or finals and not all 5 of your team members can compete you may pick up a member of another team who has already raced but has not advanced AND is from the same recognized UNIT (ex. Science) RACE DAY INFORMATION: Check-in Locations: All members of your Storm The Wall team must check in at the designated check-in location prior to each heat, semi final or final. We strongly recommend that you check in no less than 20 minutes prior to your scheduled race time. A failure to check in 10 minutes prior to your scheduled heat time may result in disqualification. Races will not be held back for teams arriving late. Please be sure to have each necessary team member together before proceeding to the appropriate registration desk. Swimmers, Sprinters: Check in on the indoor pool deck after changing into swim gear and before entering the water. The Swimmer’s student card will be held in safekeeping by registration staff for pick up after the race. Cyclists, Runners, & Wall-Persons: Check in at the Cycle Reg. Tent @ University Blvd & Main Mall Student Card Policy: • UBC students MUST bring your UBC Student Card or Government Issued Photo IDs. • NO Card…No Play…No Exceptions!!! Race # & Wall Assistance: Competitive teams will be given a race number when you check-in on race day. This race number will indicate to Storm staff that if you get assistance going over the wall, you will be disqualified. If you find you are in need of assistance please tell the Storm Staff who will help you over the wall, but you will not be able to advance.

Results will be posted by around 8pm at the end of each day on the Storm the Wall website at . Results will also be posted throughout the day at the Advancements tent on the Sub South Plaza next to the walls! Online Waivers: All team members are required to fill out an online waiver by Friday March 25th @ 5pm. How to complete an online waiver: 1. Go to 2. On the left column, click on the “Free Agent/Single Participant Signup/Online Waivers” link. 3. New users: click "Sign up here!" to create your account 4. Existing users: sign-in 5. Once you have created your account, or signed in, you can fill out your online waiver by selecting "Storm the Wall" from the drop-down menu Return of the Storm: The Point, UBC REC’s online magazine, is running a contest called “Return of the Storm”. It’s easy, just take a photo of you and your team "storming" something, like the "UBC Rec" facebook page and upload the photo. Then, tell all of your friends to "like" it. The 5 photos with the most "likes" by midnight on Sunday March 27 will be invited to compete in an exciting showdown on the bark mulch on Monday March 28! Winners will receive a refund for their registration fees and a Sponsorship prize package!!
