UNCONTROVERTED FACTSUPPORTING EVIDENCE
1.On March 27, 2019, anindividual named Brian Statler, Jr.came into the Church of Scientologylocated at 315 S. Market in the City of Inglewood and 911 was called.Exhibit A, Declaration of ArmandoDominguez, ¶s 1 and 3; Exhibit K,Deposition of Paul Krynen, page72:10-22; Exhibit D, 911 CallTranscript (March 27, 2019)2.Armando Dominguez, had nothad personal contact with Statler prior to March 27, 2019, but was aware of his prior drug use and violence againstDecery Capponi, who was a staff member of the Church at the time. Exhibit A, Declaration of ArmandoDominguez, ¶ 23.On that day, March 27, 2019,Armando, a senior official for theChurch, was told by the Receptionist,Betty DeLeon, that Statler had calledand indicated he was coming to theChurch and was “packing.” Armandounderstood this to mean that he was bringing some kind of a weapon withhim to the Church.Exhibit A, Declaration of ArmandoDominguez, ¶s 1 and 24.When Statler arrived, Armandowas nearby and overheard Betty sayingaloud, “Can somebody come help?”Armando looked in the direction of Reception and saw Statler standing infront of the Reception Desk whereBetty was sitting.
