Walter came firing back nailing wins in the next three games to get to the hill. With some missed shots, Mike took the 7th game and the set, 4-3. 9 Ball: This set belonged to Mike with nice shooting and tough leaves for Walter. When it was over, Mike finished the set shutting out Walter 4-0. 10 Ball: As with any match between two good shooters it would come down to the last game again. The players exchanged all games back and forth as each player got to the hill tied at 3 each. Mike again took advantage of missed opportunities by Walter and finished the set, 4-3. Good shooting by two very good players. Final: Mike B 15 Walter 6 Table 1: #7 Nicholas Pasque vs #11 Ray Ressler 8 Ball: Nick got off to a slow start as he seemed to make some nice shots but missed on several shots that helped Ray finish games. Ray takes all 4 games holding Nick off the scoresheet. 9 Ball: Nick seemed to get his shooting eye back in this set. Ray and Nick exchanged the first 4 games before Nick made some nice shots to take game 5 and get to the hill. After a few nice shots by Ray with some tough leaves for Nick, Ray was able to take the final two games for a 4-3 set win. 10 Ball: Ray continued to shoot good and posted a 1-10 combo in game one, took games 2 & 3 before Nick got on the sheet with a win in game 4. Ray finished the set for a 4-1 win. Great effort by Nick and nice shooting by Ray. Final: Ray 15 Nick 4
Table 3: #9 Matt Dessert vs #1 Todd Cook 8 Ball: This was a tough match between two good shooters. This set went back and forth as each player kept pace with the other as the exchanged the first 6 games in the set. It was Todd finding the win in game 7 to take the first set 4-3. 9 Ball: This set looked just like the 8 ball set as the players again won every other game to both make I to the hill for the second set in a row. Again, Todd took advantage of missed shots by Matt and posted the final win in the set for the second 4-3 set win. Matt was now down 6 points in the match. 10 Ball: Matt seemed to draw some extra energy off the losses in the first two sets and came out fast posting a win in game 1 and a 2-10 combo to take game 2. Todd posted his only win in this set in game 3. Matt finished off Todd taking the set 4-1. This match finished even. Good shooting by both in a tough match. Final: Matt 11 Todd 11 Table 4: #12 Jack Ressler vs #6 Michael Servitto 8 Ball: Jack could not get started in the set as his misses led to more wins for Michael who was shooting well and taking control of the set. Michael took all four games in the set keeping Jack off the score sheet for a 4-0 win. 9 Ball: After Michael opened the set taking game one, Jack looked like he would get back into the match as he nailed back to back wins in game 2 & 3. Again, with Jack’s missed shots, Michael was able to take advantage and notched wins in the next three games to take the set with a 4-2 win. 10 Ball: Michael continued to shoot well and Jack continued to miss. When the smoke had cleared, Michael again cruised through the set with a 4-0 win. Good effort by Jack and nice shooting by Michael. Final: Michael S 15 Jack 2
Table 6: #2 John Surhigh vs #5 Peter Ramonat 8 Ball: Peter showed up like several other players the last several weeks sporting a cold. John jumped out quickly with some nice shooting to take the first two games in the set. Peter found his only win in game 3 before John leveled the hammer and took the final two games for a 4-1 set win. 9 Ball: Peter seemed to find his shooting eye as well as his patented hooks to take the opening two games of the set. John then put it back into gear nailing wins in the next three games to climb on the hill. Peter matched him taking game 6 but could not stop a charging John. John took game 7 and the set 4-3. 10 Ball: This set belong all to John who came out making nice shots and holding Peter off the table most of the set. John swept the set winning 4-0. A valiant effort to Peter and nice shooting by John. Final: John 15 Peter 4 Table 7: #3 Jim Barkatt vs #4 Ed Servitto 8 Ball: This was a close match with two good players and turned out to be a close match. Jim started the set with a win before Ed nailed back to back games to take the lead. Jim notched game 4 and Ed jumped on the hill winning game 5. Then Jim went to work and with some nice shooting took the next two games to close out the set with a 4-3 set win. 9 Ball: Jim coming off a high from his back to back game wins came out quickly in the set opening with a 1-8-9 combo and followed that up with a 2-9 combo win. Jim took game 3 to get on the hill with a 3-0 lead. Ed slowed Jim down one more time, taking game 4 before the curtain closed on Ed as Jim took game 5 and the set 4-1. 10 Ball: Ed nailed back to back wins to get off to a good start in the set. Jim had other ideas as he nailed wins in the next three games to get on the hill. Ed reeling from the first two sets put together some nice shots and tough leaves for Jim and took the final two games for a 4-3 set win. Good shooting by both. Final: Jim 13 Ed 9

Dave was bitten by a pool players nightmare, scratches on the 8 and a player that played decent against him in his match. Scott took all four games in the set with nice shooting and help from some help from Dave. 9 Ball: Scott on a high taking all four games in the first set came out and nailed the first two games for 6 in a row. Dave finally got on the score sheet winning game 3 and game 4. Scott nailed the 9 ball on the break in game 5 and finished the set with a win in game 6 for the set win, 4-2. 10 Ball: Dave tried to salvage at least on set but his problems continued to overshadow his game play. Scott took the first two games and it continued to stay sour for Dave. Dave managed (2) wins in the set as Scott wins 4-2. Good try to Dave and nice shooting by Scott. Final: Scott Table 2: #10 John Kimmell vs #6 Gary Loverde 8 Ball: John took game 1 and then stalled as Gary posted wins in the next three games to get to the hill. John posted (1) more win before Gary closed the set out winning game 6 for a 4-2 win. 9 Ball: John again opened the set with the first win but Gary again ripped through the next three games to get on the hill. John found one more win before it was over for a 4-2 set win. 10 Ball: This time it was Gary notching game one. John tied him winning game 2 and then Gary again notched back to back wins to get on the hill. John won game 5 before Gary finished off the set for his third 4-2 set win. Good try by John and nice shooting by Gary who keeps pace with Mike J and still trails by a point. Final: Gary 15 John Kimmell 6 * Marty can buy 15 points for his bye last week if he elects to. He would jump to 80.

Table 3: #5 Jim Vohs vs #11 Mike Jernigan 8 Ball: Mike J continues to take care of business and maintain a (1) point lead in the standings. After opening the set with a win, Mike continued to win game after game, all four to take the set keeping Jim off the scoresheet. 9 Ball: Mike J continued his shooting skills and posted the first two wins in the set. Jim finally made the scoresheet as he nailed back to back wins in games 3 & 4. Mike did what he does well, keep the opponent from taking sets as he nailed wins in the final two games for a 4-2 set win. 10 Ball: Jim took game one and then it was all Mike. He posted wins in the next four games to take the set 4-1. Good try by Jim V and nice shooting by Mike J. Final: Mike J 15 Jim V 3 Table 4: #9 Mike Bates vs #16 Jaret Wilson 8 Ball: Mike B took the first game and Jaret came right back notching back to back wins to take the lead. Mike tied the set winning game 4 and then broke in game 5 and ran out keeping Jaret off the table completely in the game. Mike would finish the set winning game 5 for a 4-2 set win. 9 Ball: After posting an opening 3-9 combo in game1, Mike followed that up with a 2-9 to take a two game lead. Mike took game 3 and then after Jaret broke the balls in game 4, Mike proceed to run the balls off taking the game and the set, 4-0. 10 Ball: Mike made it 6 straight wins taking the opening two games. Jaret nailed a 4-10 to take game 3 and followed that up winning game 4. Unfortunately Jaret could not stop Mike and watched his chances to take a set disappear as Mike nailed back to back wins for a 4-2 set win. A valiant effort by Jaret and nice shooting by Mike B. Final: Mike B 15 Jaret 4 Table 5: #4 Joe Lopiccola vs #12 Jim Pellerito: 8 Ball: You kind of new this would be Joe’s set as he broke in the first game and ran the rack out keeping Jim off the table in the game. He proceed to keep his momentum taking the next 3 games and the set 4-0. 9 Ball: Joe made it 5 in a row taking the first game in the set. Jim finally got on the scoresheet taking game 2. Joe nailed back to back wins in games 3 & 4. Jim took game 5 nailing a 3-9 combo. Joe finished the set winning game 6 for a 4-2 set win. 10 Ball: Joe again led the way taking the first two games. Jim fought back and took the next two games to tie Joe at 2 each. Joe wasted no more time as he took the final two games to win the set 4-2. Good effort by Jim and nice shooting by Joe. Final: Joe 15 Jim Pellerito 4 Table 6: #3 John Killett vs #13 Doug Johnson: 8 Ball: John struck first in the set taking game 1. Doug took games 2 and 3 . John tied up the set taking game 4 before Doug finished off the set winning the final two games for a 4-2 set win. 9 Ball: Doug took game one and then John went to town nailing a 4-9 combo in game 2 and followed that up with a 3-9 in game 3. Doug found his own combo taking game 4 with a 6-9 combo. Doug took game 5 to get on the hill. John followed with a win in game 6 to tie Doug on the hill. Doug held on to take the final game in the set for a 4-3 set win. 10 Ball: This set belonged to Doug from the opening break. After taking game 1 he did not look back and notched wins in the next three games to shut out John in the set, 4-0. Good try to John and nice shooting by Doug. Final: Doug 15 John Killett 5

After S & S opened the set with the first win, Midnight came back taking the next two games. S & S answered with back to back wins to get on the hill. Midnight came storming back and notched the final two games to finish the set 4-3. 9 Ball: S & S again notched game 1 but then the Midnight Express turned on the shot making and nailed wins in the next four games to finish the set with a 4-1 win. 10 Ball: This was another back and forth set. This time Midnight took the opening game and S & S playing steady put together three good wins in a row and got to the hill with a 2 game lead. Midnight seems to rally when down and did just that. They started their comeback with win in game 5 and did not stop winning until it was over with a 4-3 set win. Good shooting by two good teams in a good match. Final: Midnight Express 15 S & S Express 7
(3rd) #8 Table Wrestlers vs (4th) #2 Straight Shooters 8 Ball: This was a repeat match up from a couple of weeks back as the teams met in a regular season match. The Straight Shooters had revenge on their mind after a close loss to the Wrestlers last time. The Shooters notched wins in the first three games of the set to get on the hill. The Wrestlers found their only win in game 4. The Shooter finished the set winning 4-1. 9 Ball: The Wrestlers notched the opening win and then sat while the Shooters nailed back to back wins to take the lead. That would be all the Shooters would win in the set as the Wresters notched three wins in a row to take the set 4-2. 10 Ball: For the second set in a row the Wrestlers started off the set with a win. It was all Shooters for the next three games as they put together nice position play making shot after shot to get on the hill. Even thought Matt nailed the 10 ball on the break in game 4 they could not win that game. The Wrestlers found (1) more win before the set ended with the Shooters taking the set 4-2. The Shooters got their revenge with some nice shooting. Good effort by the Wrestlers. Final: Straight Shooters 12 Table Wrestlers 8 (5th) #10 Disorderly Duo vs (6th) #9 Bad English 8 Ball: The Duo opened the set taking the first two games with some nice shooting and good safe play. Then everything went south for the Duo as Bad English started making shots and taking games. They took the final four games to take the set 4-2. 9 Ball: The troubles for the Duo carried over to this set as well as it seemed like when they had their chances they could not close the games out. Bad English finished the set keeping the Duo off the scoresheet in the 9 ball set and took a large lead going into the 10 Ball Set winning the set 4-0. 10 Ball: This set was equally as bad for the Duo as they continued to miss shots to finish games. The Bad English team took the first three games before Duo won game 4. Bad English completed the sweep of the sets with a 4-1 set win. A valiant effort by the Duo and nice shooting by Bad English. Final: Bad English 15 Disorderly Duo 3 (7th) #6 Samuel Adams vs (8th) Pond Creek Dogs 8 Ball: This was another rematch from a couple of weeks ago for these two teams with the Adams team coming out on top. The Adams team started out hot nailing wins in the first three games of the set to get on the hill. Just when it looked dim for the Pond Creek Dogs, they put together wins in the next four games to capture the set 4-3. 9 Ball: The Adams notched win number one and then sat while Pond Creek took the next three games, nailing a 6-9 and a 2-9 respectively in games 2 & 3. They got on the hill winning game 4. Samuel Adams made a 4-9 combo in game 5 but were unable to contain the Creek Dogs from winning the final game for a 4-2 set win. 10 Ball: The Pond Creek Dogs pounded in a 2-10 in game one, a 4-10 in game 2 before Samuel Adams got on the scoresheet. Pond Creek nailed another combo, this time a 1-10 in game 4 and finished the set with a normal win to take the set 4-1. Good try by Samuel Adams and nice shooting by Pond Creek. Final: Pond Creek Dogs 15 Samuel Adams 6 (9th) #5 Slapshot vs (10th) #3 English Majors 8 Ball: The English Majors came into this match looking to get back a the beating they took from Slapshot in their last meeting. The teams exchanged the first four games in the before the Majors took charge of the set and nailed back to back winners to take the set 4-2. 9 Ball: Jim P from Slapshot nailed the 9 ball on the break in game one, but after that it was all English Majors. They came back strong and posted four straight wins to finish off the set with a 4-1 set win. 10 Ball: This set would go the distance as the players exchanged games back and forth. The English Majors took the even numbered games, 2, 4 and 6. Slapshot got back into the match as they took all the odd numbered games, 1, 3 , 5 where Jim P nailed the 10 on the break and they won that game and the one that counted #7 to give them the set. This was a good match and nice shooting by both teams. Final: English Majors 13 Slapshot 8
