This 105 hour program prepares the Estimated cost
student to work as a nursing assistant Estimated Tuition**:
in an extended care facility, hospital or Nursing Aide Certificate: $538.00
home health organization. Upon Program fee: $75.00/semester*
successful completion of NUA 101 and Student ID Fee: $5.00
NUA 170, the student is eligible to take Clinical Fees: $35.00
the Colorado State Board of Nursing Safety Glasses: $3.00 (plus tax)
Certification Exam. Books: $63.75 (plus tax)
Admission Kit: $9.50 (plus tax)
NUA 101 Nursing Assistant Theory Criminal Background Check: $59.00
provides the student with 75 hours of class time devoted to To be done with American Databank through Healthcareex.com
theory/lab and NUA 170 provides the student with 30 hours of additional fees could be required
clinical practice. Enrollment in NUA 170 is contingent upon TB Skin Test: $15.00

August classes will be filled through a lottery process. To have your name Grand Total: $1,150.00 (plus tax)
entered into the lottery you must complete the registration process & pay
This program does NOT qualify for financial aid. We accept cash,

Classes will meet from March 16 to May 16, 2011. NUA 101 Classes will meet Reimbursement Notification
Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. NUA 170 Clinical Pursuant to section 483.152(c) of the Federal Rules and Regulations
Schedule will be on 4/30, 5/7 & 5/14/11. (No class 3/28-4/1/11) related to Nurse Aide Training and Competency Evaluation
Programs (NATCEP), a long-term care facility (“facility) that receives
Medicare or Medicaid funds: Must reimburse a nurse aide who pays
for a NATCEP and becomes employed by the facility within 12
months of date of certification, prorated for the portion of the
12-month period that the individual was employed by the facility
