Executive Summary

My team was contracted by Randwick TAFE to develop a concept for a digital media product to illustrate external campus facilities that will benefit students. In this case the gym facility was chosen. After brainstorming the decision was made that the concept would be a street look, using graffiti and bold prints, this was chosen because the facilities target audience is the Youth, and therefore it highly relates to the image which will be portrayed. By producing this promotional video the gym will attract more people as it will be seen as an interesting and enjoyable environment, which has an important purpose.

1.0 Project Description

Benefits The gym facility can provide students with a way to release there stress and tension in between classes or before and after their daily schedule. The facility helps students to think clearly and feel more vibrant. Objectives To promote and create awareness of the gym, and the benefits it will bring to all students.

2.0 Product Concept
 To produce a promotional video for the gym facility at Randwick TAFE, and to aim it at the Youth by using street designs.

3.0 Target Audience
 The product will be aimed at the Youth because they make up the majority of students which attend TAFE. Also this audience would be most likely to try this facility, even if they didn’t have any past experiences using it.  It will be aimed at the Youth, with the use of specific street designs, images and colours which relate to this modern age and time. 4.0

Proposed Promotion Method

 To take photographs of the different equipment and machinery in the gym, also the entrance and people using this facility.  By using these photographs, graphics will be created by using a brick wall, and bold prints. The combination of both will create slides for the video.  By using Camtasia, and adding sound and a voice over the promotional video will be produced.

7.0 Conclusion
The final gym facility promotional video has cheerful music, bright colours, and great bold prints. A lot of brainstorming and research had to be implemented to create this video, this as well as the collection of photographs and the making of graphics; which certain members of the team were in charge of. This video will help promote and create awareness of the facility and its benefits.
