ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

Firstly, I would like to thank my science teacher, Madam Liong Chai Chu for her guidance in explaining how to do my Peka Science 2011 entitle Unicellular Organisms and Multicellular Organisms portfolio. The special thanks are also be given to my father and mother for their effort in teaching me how to download information from internet as well as their moral support. I think without their support, help and guidance, this portfoli o will not be able to meet it success

INTRODUCTION
Living things are also called organism. Some organisms are so large that they are easily seen, examples tiger, tree. Some organisms are so tiny that they can only be seen under microscope, examples, amoeba, yeast Unicellular organisms are living things. Uni means one cell. Multicellular organisms are also living things. Multi means µmany¶. When the number of cells increase, an organism will increase in weight or size.

THE CHARACTERISTIC OF UNICELLULAR ORGANISMS
Unicellular organisms that are made up of only one cell Page 5 of 11

-

They cannot be seen with naked eye .They can only be seen under a microscope.

-

They can also be call microorganisms. They are simple organisms that can carry out all the life processes such as moving , respiration, digestion ,excretion ,reproduction an d growth.

THE CHARACTERISTIC OF MULTICELLULAR ORGANISMS
Muticellular organisms that are made up of more than one cell. Most of this organisms that can perform a variety of different functions because they are made up of variety types of cells
