Introduction
The Housing Sector National Forum has been organised in
response to demand from organisations within the sector.
It aims to address the non-uniform issues that exist and
the challenges posed in current fire safety legislation and
promote consistency across the sector at a National level.
The forum will include ‘knowledge workshops’ covering key
areas such as passive, active, enforcement and evacuation
with an opportunity to pose questions to a panel of experts
in the big debate.
Special Guests
The keynote speech will be delivered by the Fire Minister
Bob Neill MP with other programme highlights including an
exclusive preview of upcoming national guidance document
on fire precautions in purpose-built blocks of flats.
The Debate
During the afternoon of the event you will have the opportunity
to present your issues and concerns to our panel of experts
where the aim is to produce a National action plan that will
address the challenges posed by the Regulatory Reform
(Fire Safety) Order.
Help and Advice
A small exhibition made up of industry suppliers and experts
will be available at the event for delegates to gain industry
advice and view new products available.
