CSAP, Oracle and Microsoft are behemoth ERP vendors in this decade. They are top 3 shorted-listed ERP systems. It means most of people consider and compare their features when selecting ERP software. This article I’m going to present comparison between SAP and Oracle based on Panorama Consulting report. In this article I’m going to highlight comparison the high level characteristics of the vendor and detail their competing products and technologies. Unfortunately the report did not tell what kind of business type of the 1600 surveyed correspondents, are they manufacturing, financial services or other else? Anyway, here is list of SAP vs. Oracle comparison

SAP and Oracle are the top two ERP vendors where SAP rank highest by capturing 32% of the market, followed by Oracle with 23% of total market share. In addition to have the highest market share, SAP is also the most commonly short-listed ERP system, as the following table

Implementation Duration The table below shows that SAP project was longer than Oracle. Benefit Realization The chart below indicates the benefits realized by customers of SAP and Oracle. . Oracle clients have a much higher likelihood of realizing at least 50% of the expected business benefits compared to SAP clients.
