Nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing healthy initiatives through
proactive engagement and high impact volunteer work. By establishing
partnerships and coordinating with local non profits, we continue to provide a
platform for emerging leaders to make meaningful contributions within their
respective communities.

underserved about the nuances of their
college applications

Interested in being a mentor and sharing your

knowledge to those who may appreciate it? Join
the committee!
 Preventative Health Seminars
What we do: work with underserved populations who are at risk of
certain negative health behaviors and educate them on such behaviors

How we do it: aim to teach certain preventative measures via 10-15 minute
powerpoint presentations with interactive activities

Who we work with: elementary to high school students, college students,

and adults

Our work in the past: partnered with UCSD physician to present smoking
cessation seminar to Syrian refugees, presented the effects of
vaping/JUUL to Urban League in SD

 Mentorship Program
Get paired with a mentor or mentee for the year!

What you’ll do as a mentor: provide guidance, make connections, and act

as a pillar of support for/with your mentee

What you’ll do as a mentee: ask questions, receive guidance, and make

connections with your mentor

Requirements: meet 2x per quarter, fill out an application by Friday,

October 22nd at 11:59 p.m.
