PREFACE

As a part of university course curriculum every student is required to submit


the project study for the partial fullfillment of the course. It is also very necessary
to acquire the practical knowledge on the specialized field against the theoretical
base.

The topic “Market research, review and cross promotion” with especial
reference to analyze the effectiveness of promotional tactics of clark’s amer
restaurants and also to generate the awareness about the restaurants and outlets in
the Jaipur city.

The report consists of the tables and the graphical representation of the data
gathered by the research.

The report discussed the following aspect by which I achieved my primary


and secondary objectives. In this research I found the strengths, weaknesses,
opportunities, & threats of the product as well as the company.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
A project is never successfully completed without the assistance &
guidance from appropriate persons. So now it is the right time to express may
sincere gratitude towards all those persons who have helped me to complete this
project.

Apart from this I would like to gratify Dr. Veena k. arora for giving me his
valuable time in spite of his official work, for the successful completion of this
project.

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
It was first started on November 18-2007 at C-Scheme (Ashoka marg) in Jaipur. In
Jan 2009 1589 C- Scheme shut down and in Dec 2008 the owner got an
opportunity at Albert hall Museum to open a restaurant after some deliberation
they decided to close the previous restaurant and shift it to this new exclusive
location before opening the restaurant several changes in menu. They introduce
quick service fine dining to silver service and also change in logo.new paper ads
hording on J N Marg some promotion with radio and some stores were done .

Drawback: 1. High fixed cost rent , electricity or an acute water problem.


2. The road on which the restaurant was situated went into
construction in the summer 2008 so the customer walks over
200 meter from where they parked the car to reach the restaurant
this result in a huge hit to the sale of the restaurant .
3. Due to lack of planning direction and meaning of the advertising
Campaign.
4. Due to Albert hall shut at 11 PM therefore people think twice
Before coming as fear they will have to finish quickly in order to
leave the place on time. The management has solved the problem

bad an agreement with the authority to let guest out in case they

were delayed.

Vision - Make a continuous positive contribution to society.


Value - Society, religions, caste, color or origin , respect towards people, society
or junior .
Mission - To have 15 outlets and 10 crore turnover in Jaipur by 2015 or to be

number one fast-food chain in commercial sector.
