PASSION PLAY AT OBERAMMERGAU IN 2010

SUFFOLK HISTORIC CHURCHES CYCLE RIDE SATURDAY, 13th SEPTEMBER.

The Passion play at Oberammergau is performed every ten years. A group from Felixstowe is planning to visit Oberammergau in 2010 leaving Felixstowe on 20th September and arriving home on 26th September. Several members of the parish are going. If you would be interested in receiving information about this visit, please contact Kathleen Waring on 286768 or Phil Hadwen on 286008.

We need recorders to man the church ( spells of one hour ) from 9.45— 6pm. We also want cyclists, walkers or gym enthusiasts who can use the exercise-bike or treadmill. If you can do any of these, please volunteer and get as many sponsors as you can—remember that half your sponsorship money comes to the parish, and we did not get very much last year; can we do better in 2008? Recorders can also be sponsored. Details are on the church notice board. Think about Gift Aid which can increase your “take” by 25%. If you want more details, please phone 277582.
