A leif motif that is frequently exemplified in literature is the dynamics of

character relationships. The dynamics of character relationships in literature is

explored by identifying the character’s feelings amongst one another, the change
in the character’s feelings and the affects of the character’s changed feelings on
the plot line as a whole. Identifying all of these aspects are crucial in
recognizing the dynamics of character relationships. Therefore, the dynamics of
character relationships have tremendous affect on the plot and characters of a
story due to the numerous occurrences that occur as the plot of a story
progresses.

One aspect of identifying the dynamics of character relationship is

recognizing the change in the character’s feelings. Recognizing the change(s) in
the character’s feelings is performed by identifying the contrast between how the
character was before the occurrence and how the character was after the
occurrence. From reading the novel “Fallen Angels” many changes in character
feelings have betided. For example the protagonist of “Fallen Angels”, Perry also
known as Richie, undergoes changes in character feelings. Before the war, Perry
was more at peace mentally. Due to this he seemed to be more careless, thoughtless
and inexperienced when approaching the war. However, during the war Perry’s
character feelings changed. His character feelings changed because during the war
Perry became more alert due to the intensity of the instability of his
surroundings. Because Perry became more cognizant of the harsh realties of the
war, he experienced a crucial change which shows the change that he had in
character feeling.

Another aspect of identifying the dynamics of character relationship is

pinpointing the core reason of why the change in the character’s feelings
occurred. Pinpointing the core reason for why the change in the character’s
feelings occurred is implemented when all necessary incidents have been ventured.
For example, in the novel “Fallen Angels” as an affect of some incidents Perry
became more cognizant of reality of the war. The incidents that affected Perry’s
character feelings, making him more cognizant of reality of the war was the death
of Jenkins right before his eyes, the screeching sounds of bullets that simulated
inside of him and other examples. By pinpointing the incidents that led to the
change in the Perry’s character feeling, recognizing the core reasons of the
dynamics of character relationships has been shown.
