All the way to Sam Rayburn from Denver Colorado was Ryder Hoey, Great Nephew of Mike Driscoll and cousin to Todd Driscoll, TPWD District Fisheries Biologist. He had fun catching a variety of fish, and learned to catch and release when it came to bass!

Colton Sonnier of Kountze killed a Big Tom at Wiergate Hunting Club. It had a 12” beard and 1 1/4” spurs. His dad called him in.

Tommy Jacks, of Broaddus, and Buddy Brucia, of Hemphill, caught this 46 lb. catfish, on Rayburn, while camping at San Augustine Park. They also caught their limit with a rod and reel, but theives decided to take their fish before they cleaned them! The next day was better, though; limited again, and cleaned them before the thieves could get to the fish!

Della Sympson did a catch and release with this nice 8 lb bass on her first visit to Sam Rayburn. Great Job! From Jackson Hill Marina
