A logo is a visual representation of a company’s identity.
Its hallmark is instant recognition. As such, its value as an asset
lies in being used in a consistent manner to maintain a strong
and enduring visual representation of an organization.
To achieve consistency for the Jacobs + Greig identity, this
document outlines basic usage and reproduction guidelines.

Logo Elements

The Jacobs + Greig logo is comprised of JACOBS + G R E I G


two major components: The word mark of
“Jacobs” and “Greig” and the graphic
symbold connecting the two names. photography
Other elements that can be incorporated
into the logo are the wordmark “photogra-
phy”, the url “jacobsgraig.com and/or the jacobsgraig.com
stylised photo corners. The use of these ele-
ments allow the logo to be versitile in it’s
many uses while maintaining a simplistic,
elegant and professional.

Logo Colours

The colours chosen for the Jacobs + Greig

logo provides an understated elegants
while still displaying a strong brand identity. black
This allows the logo to be used in a variety
of mediums without the fear of colour
distortion or miss-calibration.

Logo Fonts

The fonts used in the Jacobs + Greig logo


allow for crisp contempory feel as well as a font: Optima
sense of timlessness. font: Caviar Dreams
All three fonts are a variety of sans serif
allowing for clarity and legibility. font: Centry Gothic
Minimum Size

The minimum size suitable for this logo is


(1) inch in length and .25 inch in high

Clear Space

Leave at least the minimum amount of


clear space between the logo and any
other graphic element of type. The mini-
mum amount of clear space should be
the height of the first “G” in “Greig” in all
directions.

The elements in this logo are each unique


and will provide versatility as well as con-
sistency within the branding.
