Mee!ng Wi" Pas#r Aman!
We had the opportunity to meet and speak with Pastor Aman, who is a
pastor on the island of Tanna, but is originally from the island of Malekula.
This was an exciting time for a couple of different reasons. First, Pastor Aman
has expressed great interest in beginning Bible translation among his people
on Malekula. This is a BIG DEAL because not only will he be a tremendous
asset to the project, but he is also willing to take a leave of absence from his
pastoral duties to work on translating the scriptures!
Secondly, we have made new friends in Pastor Aman and his family.
While we only had the opportunity to meet with him, we have sent our
“howdy” to his wife and children, and we have received the same from them.
It is amazing to see how God is working in the ordering of our ministry here
in Vanuatu.
Please be in prayer!! Pastor Aman, our director, and myself will be
traveling to Malekula in the coming weeks to look at the area and further Miana turned 11 on April

Prayer Requests
Pray for the people group we will be working with. When we get back from
Papua New Guinea we will be ready to move to the village where we will work with the people
group in translating their language into Scripture. A lot of work has to be done before the
translation can be started. There is a strong possibility we will be moving to the island of
Malekula (see above) to a more remote area please pray that God will direct our path and show
Pastor Aman and his family us where and what people group he will has us work with.
