Bachelor of Medical Science (Vision Science), Master of
Optometry
A total of up to 30 Commonwealth Supported Places will be
available to school leavers and higher education transfers in
2012. Up to fifteen places will be for applicants from rural and
remote areas who wish to practise in rural and remote regions
across Australia. In addition, up to 5 places will be for Indigenous
students. Students are admitted to the Bachelor of Medical
Science (Vision Science), Master of Optometry pathway. Those
who complete the Bachelor of Medical Science (Vision Science)
with a Credit-average (Grade Point Average (GPA) of 5.0), are
guaranteed a place in the two-year Master of Optometry.
