ATHLETE'S GUIDE

Get out on the trails!

JANUARY 22, 2022

RUSSELL PARK
GEORGETOWN, TX

PRESENTED BY

COVID-19 REQUIREMENTS
Please:
If, on race morning, you have a fever, please stay home and contact the
race director.
Stay at home if you feel sick or have been exposed to someone with
COVID-19.

In addition to self-screening:
Please be mindful of socially distancing.
Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the
trash and wash your hands.
Do not touch your eyes, nose, and mouth.
WELCOME!
Everyone should have the opportunity to try trail

running. When I first started trail running, the only

race distance available was a 50K and let's face it,

you don't have to run a 50K to call yourself a trail

runner.

Before Happy Treading, there was Trailhead

Running-- my first opportunity to encourage women

to trail run, putting speed and distance aside and

instead focusing on building a community of

runners. Life happens and change is inevitable. The

Trailhead Running book closed and Happy Treading

was born--still encouraging women to trail run and

providing opportunities to do so.

Welcome to Happy Trails Russell Park-- our newest

addition to the Happy Trails Series. I am grateful

that you chose to spend your morning with us. We

strive to provide a well-marked course, a fun and

encouraging atmosphere.

Happy Treading,

Richelle Criswell
