Alabama Says “Thank You!”


Ms. Ronda Tidwell, media specialist @ Sulligent High School in Alabama, sends a heartfelt
“THANK YOU” to everyone - - - Franklin County students, teachers, staff, sheriff
department & community - - - who donated goods for the tornado victims in Alabama.
Ms. Tidwell states, “It is a great feeling knowing there are still wonderful people in the
world willing to assist others in need. God Bless you all!”

**9th & 11th Grade Class Officers: Meet with Mrs. Patty Creamer in the library TODAY, May 18,
during homeroom.

**M/S & Varsity Basketball Meeting: Thurs, May 19, any girl interested in playing
basketball for
the 2011-12 season should meet with Coach Carlos Hill in the wrestling room @ 2:00pm.
**Spring Football at FCS: Thurs, May 19, @ 6:30pm is the annual Crimson & White Scrimmage -
FREE ADMISSION. The Spring Jamboree will be Thurs, May 26, @ 6:30pm with Franklin,
Florida A & M, and West Gadsden competing- $5.00 admission!
**Muffins for Moms: Fri, May 20, from 7:30-9:00am- Moms of KG through 8th grade students are
invited to the FCS library for muffins, coffee/juice, door prizes & gifts. Presentation @ 8:00am.
**Senior Slide Show Pictures: Fri, May 20, is the last day for Seniors to turn in 3 to 5 pictures
(baby
childhood, teenage pictures. Turn in to Ashley Moseley or Maggie Langston.

**Kiss a Senior Good Bye: SGA members are selling Hershey Kisses which will be given to the
Seniors at the end of the High School Awards Ceremony on June 2. Kisses: 10 cents each

GED Classes have moved back to Franklin County School!


Classes are held on Mondays, Tuesdays, & Thursdays (except holidays) from 4:00pm-8:00pm in 1100 building.
To register, see Linda Bradley from 4:00-7:00pm on days above.
The next GED Test will be given June 20 & 21 at the Franklin County School library at 6:00pm.
To register for the test contact Linda Bradley during GED classes or Maxine Creamer @ 670-4481.
