La-Z-Boy honored the owners and operators of top-performing La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries stores at an awards
ceremony held during the recent High Point Furniture Market in High Point, N.C.

“These top-performing stores are crucial to our distribution and overall success, and we are proud to celebrate
their achievements,” said Jim Reilly, vice president of residential sales for La-Z-Boy. “Each of these stores helps
make La-Z-Boy the leading brand it is today.”

With 305 stores throughout the United States and Canada, the La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries stores network is
one of North America’s leading proprietary furniture retailers.

Retail Partner of the Year

The Retail Partner of the Year award recognizes a partner in the La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries retail system that
continuously demonstrates commitment to the La-Z-Boy brands, retail network and customers. This honor was
given to Paul and Heather Hogeboom, owners and operators of eight La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries stores in
Ontario, for their more than 12 years of leadership, tireless dedication and ongoing support of the La-Z-Boy
retail program.

In 1999 the Hogebooms opened their first La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries store in London, Ontario. Their store
network continued to grow and in 2008 they acquired the Burlington, Mississauga and Etobicoke locations and
drastically increased sales. The Hogeboom’s eight stores continue to be top performers for La-Z-Boy. As
members of the La-Z-Boy Dealer Advisory Council, the Hogebooms continually strive to make sure their stores
and the La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries network are operating at the highest standards to provide a unique
shopping experience for customers.

“We are proud to honor Paul and Heather for continually providing exceptional customer service and offering a
comfortable and differentiated shopping experience in their stores,” said Jim Reilly, vice president of residential
sales for La-Z-Boy. “They are leaders not only in their stores, but also in the community. Their success is felt in
the Furniture Galleries network and all over Ontario.”

Customer Service Excellence

The Customer Service Excellence award recognizes the store that demonstrates superior customer service and a
commitment to the La-Z-Boy brands, retail network and customers at the store level. This honor was given to
Las Vegas store owner Steve Hueftle and his staff for achieving the highest level of customer satisfaction in the
La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries system across North America.

Top New Dealer

The award for Top New Dealer recognizes a dealer who has succeeded in his individual organization and is
dedicated to the success of the entire Furniture Galleries system. This honor was given to Michael De Nisco II of
La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries in Latham, Clay and Auburn, N.Y., for his integrity, team-building spirit and ongoing
support of the La-Z-Boy retail program. De Nisco grew up working in his family’s La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries
store and is an expert at bringing his customers quality and comfort.

“Michael conducts business with the single goal of integrity in everything he does,” said Reilly. “His values are
carried out by his staff members who exceed customer expectations before, during and after the sale.”

Ronald McDonald House Charities® Partner of the Year

The Ronald McDonald House Charities® (RMHC) Partner of the Year award recognizes the partner in the
La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries retail system who has continuously demonstrated commitment to the RMHC
partnership. This honor was given to R. Byron Brown, owner and operator of seven La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries
stores located in South Carolina, North Carolina and Georgia, for his efforts to support the local Ronald McDonald
Houses. His stores not only donate furniture, but also provide each local Ronald McDonald House with
complementary design consultation, free delivery and hundreds of household items collected by employees to
assist with the everyday needs of those in need.

“Tipperary Sales went above and beyond serving RMHC in its markets. We are inspired by the example they
have set in providing comfort to families at a time in their lives when they need it like never before,” said Reilly.
