1. Fundamental Knowledge Base Demonstrate mastery of the knowledge base that represents the core content of the medical curriculum.
2. Effective Communication (with instructors, peers, patients, families, and health care team members).Work collaboratively with others.
3. Using Basic Science in the Practice of Medicine Use basic and clinical science information in analyzing and solving clinical problems.
4. Basic Clinical Skills Obtain an appropriate history, perform a physical examination, accurately interpret clinical procedures and laboratory tests.
5. Diagnosis, Management and Prevention Diagnose, manage, and prevent the common health problems of individuals, families, and communities.
6. Problem Solving Recognize a problem and take appropriate steps to address it in a rational decision-making processes.

10. Lifelong Learning Search for, and use independently, resources in the relevant basic sciences to help explain or solve a clinical problem or phenomenon. Identify and critique
sources of information for the purpose of increasing knowledge and improving medical decision making and skills, e.g. peer-reviewed journal articles, electronic resources
such as the web and computer tutorials, and seeking help from experienced colleagues.
