2006-2008: State of Maryland, Foster Care/ Child Welfare System.
Title: Family Services Worker II (Caseworker). Duties: Enter new client recor
ds and update existing records in the Chessie database. This database provided
tracking of client court schedules visitation and health information. Updates t
o client records required adhering to specific State mandated timeframes. I rou
tinely interacted with personnel from other agencies within Anne Arundel and Fre
derick Counties. I was responsible for maintaining the security of personally i
dentifiable information. All interaction with clients was performed face to fac
e or by phone.
2001-2005: Anne Arundel County Public Schools,

Title: School Counselor. Duties: As Counselor to students in grade 6-12 I was
responsible for developing student schedules ensuring proper class placement ba
sed upon test results. Using the SASSI database I was able to update and track
student activities, grade, and academic information. Oversight and Coordination
of State and Standardized Testing, Planning and Developing Academic Programs fo
r Student Success, i.e.: Tutoring, Mentoring, Peer Counseling, After- School Stu
dy Programs, College and Career Counseling. Prepared comprehensive reports deta

students, parents and educators to determine the best long term placement to me
et the student's needs

1998-2001: State of Maryland, Adult and Family Support Services,


Baltimore, MD. Duties: Provided Emergency assistance for Families with Children
, Disabled Adults and Homeless Clients, Including; Housing, Rent Assistance, Bal
timore Gas and Electric Notification Assistance (utility and power turn-off), Co
unseling, Medical and Dental Resources and Employment. All client information w
as entered into the CARES client data base to monitor and maintain records of as
sistance provided. Daily interaction with walk-in and intra-agency referred cli
ents. Routinely made home visits to assess the validity of assistance requests.
All information gathered was used to determine type and amount of assistance t
hat could be provided at the city level and when warranted to the state level.
Requests to the state required extensive evidence gathering, lengthy interviews
and negotiations with local and state officials as well as general service provi
ders including BGE, Maryland Food bank and Catholic Charities. Received multipl
e commendations for Client Representation.

Title: Aviation Storekeeper. Duties: Through the use of a computerized Supply
and Inventory Control System I monitored the availability and procurement of nec
essary equipment and supplies for the purpose of maintaining all Mechanical, Ele
ctronic and Power Equipment for Aircraft Maintenance. Supervisee and provide tec
hnical support and expertise to subordinate Airmen. Served For Four Years Activ
e Duty and Four Years as a Reservist. Received Two Good Conduct Medals, and the
Navy Medal of Meritorious Achievement.
